There are very few places in US where they can make a good espresso. In NY, I spent one day trying to find one but none approached the quality that you can get in eg. Italy. This place can make simply the best espresso I had in US. It beats quite a few places in Italy as well and is really one of the best ones I ever had. The taste is quite perfect. Even if you are not an espresso fan, you can get amazing coffee there. I was able to try their special drip coffee. But this is not the traditional half burnt bitter or tasteless coffee that typically get from the big drip machines. The process of preparation has to be very careful I think because there is an amazing amount of flavour. I think even people who do not like coffee due to some bitterness would like this. I would recommend do not drink it immediatelly but let it cool a little bit and you will start recognising many distinct flavours. No bitterness no burnt aftertaste. The place is also quite pleasant to sit. If you even get to Salt Lake airport, there is a skyline train going downtown, this trip is worth it just because of the coffee as it is difficult to get such...

We were recommended People’s Coffee by Chelsea at From Scratch Restaurant, and we are so glad we came! Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, this beautiful corner lot café has giant windows, plenty of natural light, and great outdoor seating—it’s the kind of space that immediately feels warm and inviting.
Victoria greeted my wife and me as soon as we walked in and made us feel right at home. I ordered my usual iced Americano with heavy cream, and my wife tried the seasonal Salted Maple Cinnamon Latte. Both drinks were absolutely fantastic—the Americano was smooth and bold, and the latte was perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness.
The ambiance is exactly what you want in a local coffee shop: welcoming, community-focused, and the kind of place you could happily sit for hours working, reading, or just enjoying good conversation.
We’ll absolutely be back every time we visit from Pennsylvania. If I could give this spot 6 stars, I would—the coffee and atmosphere are that good. Highly recommend...
Read moreWas with my husband and we had gotten back from a church service and was trying to get a nice coffee and drinks to relax and enjoy didn't do much research just looked up coffee near by we ordered an espresso and a tea, i got my espresso first, it was $3.5 and i got a sample looking coffee disappointed. I noticed the pictures behind me and I did not drink it. Just pictures upon pictures of blood coming out of paintings horrible and demonic looking paintings. I believe in the importance of creating spaces that are welcoming to people of all faiths and backgrounds. While I understand that artistic expression is subjective, I found some of the imagery, which I would describe as having demonic or dark themes, to be disconcerting. I would kindly suggest that the coffee shop consider the impact of such imagery on its diverse clientele. Perhaps a more inclusive approach to decor could create a more inviting environment...
