Lucy's Tavern — Restaurant in San Diego

I've been going to Lucy's for several months consistently - I spend a great deal of money there and could be a great place with the right staff and new ownership.

I've had my jacket stolen from there (within 5 minutes of being there) with minimal help to find the perp, mentioned to the staff and owner which showed their lack of concern for personal belongings.

I was also electrocuted by faulty christmas lights and when I told the bartender (female) she acted like I shouldn't have bothered her regarding the matter.

Then after every time I made an attempt to order a drink she completely ignored me for more than an hour. Obviously she had no right to do so and served other patrons that came up after me.

The people for the most part (aside from the thief) are pretty cool, I recommend keeping an eye on your personal belongings and if you get hurt in their establishment don't bother telling them because they have shown they do NOT give a #$%&.

I even text the owner regarding the electric shock incident without a response, you'd think the staff would thank you for letting them know (multiple people have been shocked - advised the bartenders and did nothing about the incident).

For these reasons I will never step foot in there again, you all just lost a very good paying customer and many people there will be very disappointed in my absence since I've bought just about everyone there a drink or two just to make...

I hate to leave another bad review because I used to LOVE Lucy's, nothing against the bartenders(Bonnie, perry are great) but the door staff IS THE WORST. They allowed someone to throw my purse, threaten and verbally assault me, all unprovoked. Right in front of "security". I even asked "security" for help with the situation and they told me I was the problem because I put my purse UNDERNEATH the pool table when I shoot. I apologize to the bartenders, but I would not suggest going here until they hire staff that performs the function they are hired to. .... THEN THEY 86'D ME BECAUSE OF THIS REVIEW!! The muscle head dude doesn't know a thing about being a publican. If your gonna own a bar, you gotta give people a minute to finish there beers, or at least let them throw it back. This top dog muscle dude ripped our almost full pints out of our hand and told us to get out when closing up. The pints that he was more than happy to take our money for not even 10 minutes prior.
