TLDR: Nice restaurant with lovely views, very helpful & friendly staff, but only a few good dishes. We came here to eat multiple times during our stay at the Hilton. Pros 1) Convenience: obviously the most convenient option if you’re staying at the Hilton. Getting a table was a breeze and the servers were very gracious 2) Views: beautiful view of the bay while you enjoy your meal 3) Staff: All the times we came, our servers were simply the best. Attentive, helpful and friendly. 3) Some good dishes: Loved the beet salad & whipped feta. The tuna tartare & sesame rice paper was really really good. Cons: 1) some not so great dishes: The tuna sandwich, chicken wings and pizza here aren’t that great. Definitely overpriced in my opinion

Great service and a mixture of up scale and simple dishes. The menu is great and the bar has a good selection. Plenty of space in and out. So seating is not an issue. I Had a well cooked dish, but it was salty. My friend ordered the same and it was too. They took care of it and re-ordered. The 2nd day my food was perfect. Rations are big compared to other restaurant in the area. It’s a great experience and has a decent schedule for those staying at the hotel. Will comeback to upgrade this to a 5 stars.

I've been here a few times throughout the years during an annual event and now that I no longer live in SD, this is one of my go to hotels to stay at. The bartenders are absolutely nice and they remembered us from earlier in the day and we returned at night. Now the 2-3 Stars is because of the female server. Her attitude, tone of voice, and body language is a no for me. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Decided to give Odysea a try for dinner tonight (5/22/21) being that we are staying at the Hilton. We (my 2 kids and their cousin) came to eat dinner. When we were finally seated after about 20 minutes no one came to our table and offered us water or an explication to as why we were not receiving any service. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant 🤷‍♂️. After about 20 minutes we took a quick emergency vote and decided on uber eats. As I was getting ready to leave I glanced around the restaurant and seen every other patron with water or other beverages. The young ladies seated next to us were seated after we were and they not only had their beverages but they also had their food. I still don’t understand why we weren't given service? I am in the customer service field and I would never leave any of customers hanging like this!!! I spoke to the manager in charge tonight “Reginald” I appreciated his time and effort but the damage was already done . A simple “sir, we are at full capacity we’ll be right with you” or a quick water drop would have restored our faith into this restaurant. I Do not recommend this place if you...

Be prepared if you stay here as a guest. I made the mistake of trying to redeem a credit of $15.00 as a hotel guest. I purchased a drink and had a balance of $11.00, which I paid using my bank card. They charged me $111.00 this was not a charge to my room. Mind you. This was being paid separately. I spoke to a manager, Yvonne, and she claims this is normal business practices. If you stay here, please pay with cash or risk being overcharged 10 times the amount, because they can! Per Yvonne. When we ate at the buffet, I made sure NOT to give the waiter my room #! I recommend. Don't use the $15.00 Dailey credit or risk being charged 10x over. EAT AND DRINK OFF SITE or pay cash.

it is a beautiful location, next to Petco, and we did enjoy the game. Rady Shell is a great venue...
