PB Avenue — Restaurant in San Diego

If I could rate this place 0/0 I would. I had the worst experience being out and about with my family on my brothers graduation day. We walked in to this bar spent 100$ to get in hoping to have a good night and the dumb little white bartender/ security guard that wanted to act like a cop accused my brother of taking drinks and walking out. She caused a whole scene because she thought he took random drinks off the table and then she ran back inside without taking any accountability of being wrong. When we had just gotten in and went to order drinks my brown brothers tried to order a vodka Red Bull and she said that they don’t make that?? 5 minutes later I go in without knowing any of this has happened and order a vodka Red Bull ( I am white Mexican ) her ignorant self probably didn’t realize we were all together and served me a vodka Red Bull with no hesitation ??? I asked the bouncer for her name and they refused to give it to me because they said she’s been a problem. I hope her manager sees this and makes it an issue because she was acting way out of line. This place is a mess, it’s not a first time we’ve been charged in a event when it supposed to be free entry… This specific security guy shouldn’t not be working anywhere, he doesn’t know how treat customers and not even know how tohandle a conversation. He was charging some people $10 or $5 at the door. He asked me to show where was saying the event was free, and I did. He said they are saying is free but PB Avenue is saying $10 bucks, pay or leave…

It’s so pathetic, not about the money which is real cheap but the absolutely terrible customer service. I understand he doesn’t make much money working in a small venue but steal money from the venue and the customers is a terrible way.

You guys should hire a better staff and find a proper manager to run the club, it’s always a joke. I like to support my DJ friends but there’s no way to bring my friends for this type of environment. We goes to party not to fight...

The place is really fun and there was good service but I was only there for about 15 minutes early in the night and bought one tequila shot for $6 left a $3 tip and that's it. The next morning my card wasn't on my person so I checked my bank account and noticed a $48 transaction was made from the Avenue hours after I'd been there. So there is no doubt I left it at the Avenue, and if I left it on the counter or dropped it on the ground, it wouldn't have taken over 2 hours for someone to come up on it. And it hasn't been used since so I doubt it's anywhere other than the bar.
