We Placed a Door Dash delivery order today and specifically asked for and paid an extra +$2 for a fried or medium well egg with our Original Rice & Rooster meal, even Called twice after the were pinged that the order was on its way to be sure that it was right. The server agreed and ensured that our order would be prepared to our liking- 30 min later after we received our order, Lo & behold- the egg was runny, very runny, so were unable to eat it. We called the shop back to explain the scenario to female who took our order however, she was extremely unprofessional with ZERO customer service skills. Her phone demeanor was intolerable to our concerns about our previous requests. We then requested a refund for the order and she agreed to refund but quickly hung up the phone without taking our name, CC# or any order related information- this was the worst experience weāve had at a San Francisco eatery in a long time- and we are planning to never eat at this location...

I'm a brown rice eater by choice and I don't really enjoy chicken skin-- so if I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be The Marina. I inhaled the generously portioned meal within 15 minutes. NOM! They ran out of sous-vide eggs while I was there, but I'm definitely coming back to give it a try.

I love rooster and rice and am a great supporter. But I just had my second serving at the new Stanyan street outlet @ Inner Richmond, and THE QUALITY HAS DROPPED!
Please maintain the quality so that the servings are always consistent. As a food lover, I always watch when the food is being prepared, and this was my observation: Rice was not as fluffy, and was cold when it was served because the cooks left the rice cooker open between servings. Chicken was cold, as it was left out for too long after taking it out of the souvi cooker. The lid of the take away box needs to be sealed tight before placing it in the take away bag.
