Absolutely love Sushi8! This is hands down one of the best Japanese spots in town. The sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. They don’t just offer classic rolls — you’ll also find creative specials, delicious fried rice, and sizzling teppanyaki dishes that are full of heart and flavor. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the outdoor patio — it’s peaceful, with beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing lunch or a romantic dinner. Whether you’re there for a casual bite or a quiet evening with drinks, the atmosphere is just right. Speaking of drinks, their selection of sake and other beverages pairs perfectly with the food. You can really tell that the ingredients are high-quality — everything tastes clean, fresh, and well-prepared. On top of that, the service is fantastic. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to make sure you have a great experience. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking for a great meal with good vibes, Sushi8 is a must-visit!

New restaurant, OUTSTANDING food & presentation! Sushi 8 just opened, but the super friendly staff, excellent cuisine & pretty dining rm feel very polished. That martini glass is the seaweed salad- gorgeous! The sushi comes with a decorative light, so festive. I'm not fond of sushi, but there are lots of other options: my teriyaki chicken was ample, served on a bed of mushrooms, bell peppers + more veggies. Perfectly delicious! Yummy dessert. This restaurant is at the end of the mall, between the Chinese dumpling, & the bubble tea cafes. Don't eat in a mall hall, enjoy their pretty dining room w/ its 2 aquariums. Try Sushi 8; they earned my highest recommendation!

I ordered delivery so can't review the atmosphere, but the food & service were wonderful. My food was packed well in quality containers, and arrived looking and tasting especially nice! I ordered 3 things - first up. the grilled shrimp and chicken hibachi which comes with sautéed vegetables and rice (I got steamed white rice instead of stir-fried rice). The other 2 items I ordered were miso soup, and the vegetable tempura appetizer. My verdict... YUM x 3! Down side - it was too much food. Up side - I had dinner for 2 nights instead of 1, so I ended up with 2 very tasty, generously portioned meals for under $40!

Ordered through door dash, presentation was great and sushi was very good. Took off one star for the following:

Note the "super white tuna" is actually escolar (as stated on the menu). This is not a tuna fish, it's a snake mackerel which contains gempylotoxin. In other terms, be careful how much you eat or it will give you VIOLENT digestive issues. A piece or two is fine (and quite tasty) but more than that is asking for trouble.

That being said, the proportion of escolar on some of the sashimi/sushi/etc combos is definitely too much to be consuming in one sitting, and through door dash you're not told what fish you're getting in the combo. If you don't know what escolar looks like, this can become an issue.

Sushi8, I suggest clearly labeling the type/portion of fish on the combos...

Well I typically do not like giving restaurants a bad review! Either I write how much I loved the place or do not write anything at all! I have to make an exception regarding this restaurant - SUSHI8. The greeter/host/waiter/cashier was rude and made me feel as if he could be so bothered. The restaurant was noted to be closing at 9PM and I arrived at 8:05PM to an empty restaurant! With so much time I didn’t think it would be a problem. I gave SUSHI8 two stars for the food and nothing else. The Bento Box I ordered was average and have had better food in other places in which I’ve eaten. Even when paying the check the all in one server/etc was rude. The prior reviewers must have had a different set of staff! I would not recommend nor would I ever return...
