B&D Burgers - West Congress St. — Restaurant in Savannah

This was my first time here with my partner and at first we were greated and told to set ourselves. I went to the girls bathroom and WOW... THE SMELL WAS HORRIBLE almost like the smell of still water and mold. I went back to my table and we ordered. He order a Turkey burger and I ordered a black bean burger. We also got the mozzarella sticks. The waitress brought the mozzarella sticks and almost all the cheess was out of most of the mozzarella sticks. I didn't say anything then because this is an easy mistake to make with mozzarella sticks. The wait for the food wasn't bad. I will our burgers were awesome and I was so happy they had a black bean burger. The waitress (We never got a name. She is the American American lady with short hair ) was awful. She was rude,inattentive, and immature. This young lady was behind the counter just talking to the other waitress or staring off. We never got any refills for our drinks. We had to flag her down for napkins and which is promptly drop off the napkins off on tbe table and said "here you go" and walked off before we had a chance to ask for a refill. When my partner asked when we were checking out if the refills cost extra the woman said no and asked if he wanted a to go cup. He said no that she never came over to refill out drinks ( he had a coke and I had a water) and was told us " well when I am out with company I don't want to be bothered by people and do I don't bother my tables" my partner then said that she wasn't checking on us at all and she processed to get really aggravated and she said "I'm sorry I did not fill your needs" my partner was expressing that when people are out they want their waitress or waiters checking on them. She then got even more upset and was raising her voice ( like other people started looking..) She said "I'm said I'm sorry and idk whatelse you want me to do. Congress St Location in Savannah, GA - We were here on vacation and upon entering, there was only one other couple in the restaurant. It took a few minutes for anyone to seat us. After being seated, and waiting for a bit, our server, Kaylee S., took our drink order and our food order. I asked for a build your own burger, double-patty, plain with cheese, and medium rare. My fiancé asked for cheese fries and mozzarella stick appetizers and chicken quesadillas. By this time, the other couple left, we were the only ones in the restaurant, and it took over 10 minutes to get our drinks. Only the cheese sticks were brought out and when we got our food, my burger was like a charcoal briquette. I rarely return food, but this burger was inedible. Kaylee never checked on us and we had to ask the bartender to get her, which again took several minutes. I had a new burger made, Kaylee took the over done one, with the fries I was still eating, and brought me a new one, which was at least edible (this one was cooked medium, not medium rare), sans fries. For a burger joint, I would have expected a great burger, made the way I wanted it, and for an empty restaurant, the service was awful. Kaylee needs additional training in food service. We also noticed that all the workers remained in the back kitchen area carrying on and laughing. Kaylee never once came to check on us before or after serving the replacement burger.
