I was surprised to have 2 do this review. I usually stop by this Chili's when I go 2 Savannah 2 my Dr's appt every other month. Usually I have no issues with this place but they have changed, not sure if they are under new management, new staff or what but this stop was the worst experience ive ever had with them. I usually order take out & have a drink at the bar while i wait. This time soon as I stepped n the door u could tell it wasnt the same, I was never greeted or acknowledged I had 2 get the attention of the young lady taking the orders, once I did 4 a min she just looked at me like I stepped n her house & was bothering her. I'm disabled, have had 5 different surgeries performed on my spine n different areas & I still move faster than this young lady & I mean she was half my age also, still she acted as if I was a nuisance to her. The only reason they got an extra star on atmosphere is n thanks to the staff member at the bar who made my drink & was very nice, helpful & moved as if they were on their job. Once my order was ready I automatically had to have something corrected, then some still wasn't right, had 2 keep returning n 2 ask 4 things that had been requested but not put n bag. I ordered the sampler & the sliders were made the sloppiest i had ever seen, the meat was laying off the side of the bread, the top even further over, dips were left out, plates were assembled so poorly & sloppy I was really surprised. You would expect better service & food when paying nearly $70 just for 2 people 2 eat, at least I feel they should be expected to have better than a McDonald's drive thru. I've had better food and svs at s roadside pop-up food truck than what I had here. I'm very disappointed, I like Chili's & have always stopped by this exact store when n town. Even after I called & asked 2 speak 2 a manager & apparently a district manager was there when I called & even though he was very polite when I explained what happened, when I brought up the employee who never greeted us, wasnt very polite or friendly & moved slower than me(and im disabled & twice her age)he knew exactly who I was referring 2 even without saying much, which as someone who use 2 run multiple businesses tells me this isn't the 1st time nor am I 1st person 2 say something about that employee & with that being said if that is the case with that employee as a manager he should've addressed & dealt with them accordingly, if the employee did not improve terminated them. Restaurants are a cus svs business that involves dealing with people & the public, so if u don't like having a talk 2 people, help customers, have a positive attitude/demeanor, put a smile on ur face or be able to move with more speed to keep up with the customers than they shouldn't wrk in a customer svs oriented profession. Their r 2 many people that really need jobs 2 have employees in ur business that don't really want 2 b there, only there 2 get paid which is important but shouldnt be the determining factor of their attitude towards ur customers. And while speaking 2 the general manager even though he was polite & listened he did not at any time offer compensation n any form 2 me 2 try 2 make up 4 the poor svs, dismal display of food arrangement on plates, the less than pleasing quality of the food or anything. I explained how I only come by every other month so I couldn't just bring the food back 4 a refund due to living far frm the restaurant, but even with that said i feel as if he shouldve & couldve at least offered 2 email me a gift voucher n the amount I spent that day, a discount coupon or something. That was too much money 4 me 2 have just wasted when I have 2 live on a fixed income & like many other people nowadays can't afford to just throw money away like that. Being a person that b4 i became disabled worked in a customer svs environment, if this incident had occurred at a business i managed I would have offered 2 try make things right & that employee would not longer be there. If they plan 2 keep my business they will have 2 do better & send a...
Read moreHello,
This was the worst service I have ever received. The table was not clean upon seating: Oh well, that happens. The server (tall, white, male with medium-to-long sized blonde hair) came by to ask for appetizers and drinks. I ordered white-spinach queso. About 5 minutes later the server in question brings chips and salsa. No dip. Approximately 15 minutes later the manager, Chantelle, came by and stated that the cheese was not defrosted and would be an approximate 30 minute wait. Okay.... I said no. I don't want to wait. I ask the server if the chips were free because I was under the assumption that I would be getting the wonderful appetizer to accompany it (an appetizer I was told would not be brought in a timely manner after 20 MINUTES of waiting)... the server said no. Additionally he stated that he can either 1) bring the chips back or 2) I can get it for free if we sign up for Chili's rewards program. No apologies, no attempt of reimbursement for the chips (chips given under the pretense that they would be served with white-spinach queso, not solely salsa): We were told to sign up for a rewards program. A well-versed server would state that there was no cheese available before forcing a customer to commit to an order. I felt backstabbed.
Towards the end of eating my entree I requested the dip to-go. Might as well get the dip if I'm being forced to pay, right? I ask the server if the cheese was defrosted. "Yes, they are preparing your food right now." He brings the to-go chips with no dip. He brings the lava cake, still no dip. We have been waiting for 30 minutes AFTER we have finished eating at this point. He questions if I'm ready for the bill to which I say no because I am still waiting on the white-spinach queso dip. He thought he brought it, but he never did. I finally receive the white-spinach queso dip in a to-go bowl. The bowl is less than half-filled. As I am leaving, a family next to my table receives white-spinach queso dip within ~10 minutes of ordering. Not only that, but their dip is hot, steaming, and properly filled while mine is cold. I waited 30 minutes after finishing my entree for something unsatisfactory by any corporations' standards.
In summary, the table was sticky and unclean. There was no communication regarding the status of my appetizer until after I have waited 20 minutes for it. Since when is it proper etiquette to state that your establishment's cheese has to be defrosted? From a customer's point of view that is both unappetizing and unappealing. I was mislead by being told to pay for an order that I did not receive in totality. There was no apologies. No attempts of making amends. Rather than a simple apology I was told to sign up for a rewards program. When I finally receive the dip, after 2 hours, it is both cold and unfilled. I called the restaurant later asking to speak on the situation and I was quickly rushed off the phone after requesting both the manager (of who's name I received) and server's names so I could speak to her regarding my experience. This was one of the worst serving experiences I have ever received. To experience this on January 1, 2023 is just sad.

Read moreThis has to be the WORST Chili’s I have ever been to. First let’s start with when me and my husband arrived we was greeted by a representative that look like she had just woke up from a nap and was told that it was a 10-15 min wait which we were ok with. So we asked to sit at the bar area until our table was ready and was told that they didn’t have a bartender on duty @around 8:30 on a Monday evening. So my husband ordered a beer. As we were sitting at the bar I noticed that there was a girl behind the bar that was fixing a vodka and cranberry for a customer. After waiting at the bar over 20 min we asked the bartender was our table ready and she said she didn’t know we were waiting for a table and rushed and wiped one off and sat up down. I tried to order a chip and dip with my rewards but was told they didn’t have any. ( to see a another waitress bring some to someone about 20 min later) so we ordered a appetizer ,bone in buffalo wings which we got and as soon as I looked at them I knew something was wrong so me and my husband bit into one and there we go blood. I immediately called the waitress over shows her and she apologized and offered to take them off the bill (which she did). So we finally get our food after waiting more than 30 min to come and having to ask the waitress if it was ready. Get the food and it was ok but it was COLD. As we are sitting down eating i am witnessing several workers on their cellphone not working and talking to their friends while my waitress the only one who was working and waiting on over 6 tables alone. Didn’t want to make a big deal about it because it wasn’t our waitress fault she did the best she could but whoever the owner of this Chili’s is you DEFINITELY need to check on your business because these employees are not it. Also the bathrooms...
