Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Scottsdale

I don’t usually write reviews, but this Chipotle location absolutely earns a spotlight moment. Without exaggeration, it’s hands-down the best Chipotle I’ve ever been to and honestly, it might be one of the best places I’ve ever received service at, period.

There’s a level of care here that goes beyond the usual fast casual experience. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted like a regular at my favorite neighborhood spot even when the line’s long, the energy is welcoming and dialed in. It’s the kind of vibe that makes you want to come back just to be around good people doing their thing well.

A big shoutout to Andrew, the manager, who runs this place like a seasoned pro. He leads with ease and sets the tone for a crew that’s not just efficient, but genuinely kind. Keyle, Kenya, Israel, and Michelle each of them brings something special to the table. Whether it’s a quick smile, remembering your order, or just making sure everything is spot on, they’re the kind of people who turn a simple lunch stop into something memorable.

And let’s talk about the food because yes, it always hits. Fresh, consistent, and flavorful every single time. I’ve been to plenty of Chipotle locations where quality can be hit-or-miss depending on the day. But this spot? They never miss.

The food is the same at all Chipotles, but the restaurant itself was a disaster! There was a cell phone plugged in, blocking the walkway to the order line, and then after we stepped over the tangle of cord, there was someone's facemask on the floor. The last dishing up our food was very polite and neat with the servings. After she finished, she thanked us and walked away. There was a man taking the temperature of food, and he said he would be with us in just a minute...3 minutes later, he was still messing with thermometers in the food. It was the worst customer service I have experienced in a while. I usually don't leave bad reviews because everyone has a bad day and I like to focus on the positive. I am leaving this review because I felt like the gentleman might have been the manager/shift manager and he was caught up on how important he was. He really needs better training on customer service and caring for the store as a whole. The server seemed much more capable of managing the place. Please do not go to this Chipotle location EVER. They do not take care of their customers. I went in to place an order for me and my co-workers and after waiting in line for 15 minutes I told them that I wanted a steak Quesadilla. They indicated that we can’t order steak quesadillas from the store that the only way to order them was through their App. I explained that I didn’t even have their app downloaded and that this was for somebody else and they refused to make the quesadilla because I couldn’t do it over the phone. In the meantime as I was trying to call my co-worker to see what else they wanted to order I lost my place in line and I had to get back in like to place the remainder of the order. When they finally got my food in the bag they made a mistake and gave me somebody’s veggie burrito instead of the chicken burrito I had order. What a disaster!!!
