Visited 8/30, I travel to Scottsdale quite a bit for work, and have been here before and loved it! However was very disappointed this time around. The two female bartenders seemed more interested in having fun with the obnoxious drunk males and being on their cell phones more than serving other patrons. I waited about 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge my existence, I chatted with a couple next to me who were waiting quite some time as well, and the bar was no where near as busy as I usually see it. I ordered a Gin and tonic, and is the first time I’ve been disappointed in it anywhere I have gone. Overheard bartend ask the couple next to me if they had paid their tab, after I saw them put cash down and the other bartender who didn’t serve them pick it up, it was pretty unreal to see how disorganized and unprofessional they were being, especially after having such great experiences there in the past. The Food however did come out pretty quick and was amazing, so kudos to the kitchen for being so prompt. They didn’t lose my business but might reconsider stepping foot in there if the same two bartenders...
Read moreI was excited to finally check this place out, as I literally live just a few blocks away. I passed it numerous times while taking my dog for a walk. Finally gather some friends and we went out on the patio for a bite to eat and some beers. FoodFood wasn't bad, good beer selection, but unfortunately this place seems seems like it is trying to throw a rave in the middle of the afternoon. The music is far too loud for such a small neighborhood joint. Plus the music doesn't fit the atmosphere. The months prior it did not seem like this every time I walked by. From the time I tried it till now, the music seems to have gotten louder and more" party like" of you will. Perhaps they're trying to compete with the clubs and bars in the district, which is just a couple blocks away. Big mistake. I want to love this place, I just wish they'd turn the music down a few notches and let people hear each other at the bar and on the patio. After all, it looks like a small quaint awesome neighborhood bar, I kind of just wish that it...
Read moreI need a response from management before I go into detail. Never in my life have I played the race card, but was denied entry because my wife (Latina but looks Arabic) was too drunk to get in and I (Arabic) was shocked by what the bouncer had just said. She wasn't drunk at all. She had two white claws over the span of two hours before attempting to enter, she was not even buzzed.
Coincidently, two Arabic guys were outside the bar arguing and complaining about the same bouncer, trying to understand why they were just kicked out.
