First time at Kill Club and I thought it would be a great bar, but I was wrong. Walked in after the bouncer checked my ID and went straight to the bar. It wasn’t very busy, but it still took a while for someone to get to me. I understand bartenders can get busy with big orders, so no big deal at first.
When a bartender finally came over, she asked for my ID, which I handed over. She took it to the back and had another waitress look at it this took about five minutes. When she came back, she asked what I wanted to drink. I gave her my order, but instead of serving me, she took other people’s orders first.
I asked what the holdup was, and she said she couldn’t serve me because she didn’t believe I was 22. So, I pulled out a second form of ID (my military CAC card). Even then, she told me no, saying her boss wouldn’t let her serve me because I “act young.” All I did was walk in and order a drink.
At that point, I asked to speak with the manager. He looked at both IDs and apologized, saying he would talk to them. But by then, I was done the staff clearly had something against me.
Wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m really not the type to leave reviews, but this needed to be said. Kill club...
Read moreWe really wanted to give this place a fair shot, but it let us down big time. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others to steer clear.
We came out on a Saturday night to celebrate my birthday and were genuinely excited to check this spot out. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting in line for over 45 min (this line was visually short btw) while watching bouncers pull random girls off the street and letting them in ahead of everyone else. When we finally made it to the front, we politely mentioned that we had been waiting for over 45 mins and just wanted to join our friend group (who were literally right in front of us and ended up getting separated as the bouncer cut off our group as they entered), the bouncers became aggressive, rude, and tried to start a confrontation. Rather than de-escalating or hearing us out on the extremely long wait and group separation, they escalated the situation and ultimately kicked us out of line.
Whoever that bouncer was, he was completely unprofessional and ruined the night for our entire group and for many others with his attitude and ego. Truly...

Got the French dip and the hot pastrami sandwiches. They were INCREDIBLE. The au jus was flavorful and more than the typical brown water/soy sauce/salt dip you get many places. Beef was perfect - tender and tearable. Onion rings were were fresh battered and buttery - so good. Hot pastrami? A hit. Had a hard time staying together in a soft bun, but the meat was the most melty, soft, tender pastrami I’ve had in years. Service was also FAST - whoever was in the kitchen that night was fantastic.
Vibe was good - the place is gorgeously done and comfortable. Menu has a variety of price points for the budget conscious.
Strong recommend - will be returning to try the rest...
