Came in today, 10/08 around 2 PM. Staff working, a young woman and young man, were friendly and fast in getting us in and out, even with the toaster being down. On our way out, a man asked if we could buy him a sandwich and we thought “what the hey, it’s 7 bucks” and brought him in. The young woman working was with a customer at the register when random man approached and demanded he make her a sandwich. She directed him to the front of the line and said she would be with him shortly but he got kind of rude and said he would stay right where he was and she can make him a sandwich from there. The young man stepped in and said the same thing, that they would be with him shortly to which the random man pointed at the young woman saying “you need to listen to your coworker” and then turned to my boyfriend and I and tried to get us to side with him. We told him we didn’t see a problem with the situation and said they would be with him in just a moment. We still bought random man a sandwich because everyone has bad days and he needed the money more than we did. After we paid, the young woman ended up apologizing to the man and said she misunderstood what was going on to try and de-escalate things. Read moreFood is good. 6.99 sub deal right now is a great deal. That got me back into subway as a regular customer again. The manager at this location does not know how to communicate to customers. She is way to direct and emotionless. She seems bothered to be talking to you. I have experienced this multiple times. As a local business owner and 6 year GM for a large company, I would never communicate the way she does. I never got into with her. I just took notice of how she is. She needs to be removed. I reccomend the owner, who Im sure is paying a pretty penny for this corner cap, to send a secret shopper in here who messes up there order or something and see how she responds. Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could. Stopped in and none of the employees were wearing masks. We ordered our food, he slid them to the veggie side of the counter, the employee who was responsible for finishing them had just finished ringing a customer up, with her gloves on. Then reaches for my sandwich with the VERY SAME gloved hands that she just used at the register.
I kindly asked if she would please change her gloves before touching my food. She obliged and finished making my sandwich. When she went to wrap the sandwich she appeared to intentionally SMASH it down as if in spite for my simple sanitary request.
I’m now home and the sandwiches are indeed completely smashed.
