Macc's — Restaurant in Seaside Heights

So me and my boyfriend decided to try Macc's. It had the vibe, views, and beautiful photos of each individual Mac and cheese photos. I was so excited to try. I ordered Macc sauce and broccoli. Because why the heck not. I wanted to be plan Jane and classic

I'm from North Jersey. Now I'm unsure if it's the water. But I don't understand the cheese sauce. It was very bitter, and tasted sour. Also the broccoli wasn't fresh. It was overcooked and frozen burned.

Today was breezy kind of day But my Mac and cheese shouldn't have been cold. I was just given my meal when I took my first bite.

I saw a lot of reviews that the noodles were yellow. I think it's just the Mac sauce. Unfortunately I feel this place would be amazing if you had a nice set of drinks in you. I couldn't finish it because the taste was horrible.

For the price of the Mac bowl. I don't think it was a bad price. It's a boardwalk price. They did give you a big decent amount. The atmosphere was chill. And the employees...

This was our first time trying Maccs and I do believe with some improvements to the recipes, it can truly be a huge hit! I ordered a bowl with bbq pulled pork. All the flavor was in the bbq, as the pork itself tasted watery. Gentlemen, do not be afraid to season that pork! Your customers want & expect the flavor!

As per the Mac itself, it was watery and lacked greatly in flavor. Again, seasoning is a game changer and I believe with the right adjustments you boys can really take off. Salt your nodles and please cook them through, not al dente unless you’re planning to bake. Whatever the cheese sauce consists of, it too is a bit watery, but again nothing seasoning can’t fix! I truly wanted to love the food as much I loved the photos.

I hope I don’t come off rude at all, as it is not my intention to sound rude. I hope you take the advice I give and apply it because again, you guys have the idea and presentation, and with some tweaking of your recipes, it...

I’m a local and was really hoping this place would become a staple meal for my family. Horrible service. Ordered online and arrived 20 minutes after my requested pick up time. The order was never made. Then, instead of prioritizing the late order, I waited another 20 minutes for 3 bowls to be made. I watched 5 people come and order and get their meals while I waited. My infant and toddler stuck in the car while I wait for their dinner. Not once was it offered to make it right. No comp, no refund, and refusal to get a manager to talk to. When I asked if I could get a refund I was told they’ll take the two bowls already made back and refund me or I could take the two bowls and go ( I was waiting for 3). I’ve never heard of such a thing! Such a shame. When I said I’d stop back another day to speak with a manager, the young girl made a snide remark “good luck with that.” I waited OVER AN HOUR TOTAL.
