So where to begin. I got a hotel with my husband to finally get a night away from the kids. Decided to grab something to eat and figured if I'm gonna grab burger might as well get something better than jack in the box which was next door.....Well jack in the box would have been a way better experience. First when I pulled in at about 12:45 @ night we stayed in our car waiting a few mins because there was a handful of homeless people standing out front and being female I chose to avoid being heckled by them. After waiting in my car for about 10 minutes they all dispersed into vehicles and got comfy for the night. As I walked in to get a bite to eat there was 2 men standing by the door smoking weed. Now even though it is legal, smoking anything 25ft from a door here in wa is illegal. Now when I went in I stood waiting for someone to even notice me for about 4-5 mins till Tony finally noticed me and didn't want to just take my order he also was trying to take me home. I told him we would like to take a look at a menu and it would be a few moments. With that he gave me a menu and walked out. We decided to get some good burgers and shakes and looked to see where Tony was at, well he was outside with the 2 men smoking weed joining in. After a few more minutes of me standing at the front counter a young lady came up and asked if she could help us in any way, as I was about to place my order, here comes Tony running in smelling of weed and pushing his co-worker to the side saying he would take our order. I placed our order of 2 burgers and 2 shakes and was shocked at the $35 price tag. Now knowing that I just paid $35 bucks I was hoping for a great meal, well I was sadly mistaken. I told Tony I was going to potty my dog outside and smoke a cigarette while I waited, I even asked him to let me know when it was done. After spending about 10 minutes outside I went in to find my food bagged and sitting on the counter. I went to look into it and see if it really was mine to have a gentleman from the back ask what I was doing. He said that yes that was mine and I was good to take it. At that point Tony comes from somewhere asking if there was anything else he could do, I asked for a drink carrer, which at that time Tony disappeared. We decided to leave and made it back to our car. Which at that time there was 4 vehicles around us with people sleeping in them. We got back to our room which was a 3 min drive from Denny's to find our shakes completely melted, and our cups not even full. It had looked as if they had made one shake and split it between 2 cups. Now my dog eats anything and everything and I should have known something was wrong when he didn't even want to eat a peice of bacon from my burger. About 20 mins after eating half of a soggie, oily and just hands down horrible burger my husband became ill. He spent the rest of night having the burger and to tot balls come out either end.
Now when I went to complain and get my money back this am around noon, 2 of the 4 cars where still there with people sitting in them just like as if they live there.

Read moreIf there was the option to give ZERO stars, we would. When we were seated, after waiting 10 minutes at the host stand without acknowledgement, we could see that it was busy. I had to ask for coffee multiple times before it was actually brought to the table.
We waited more than 45 minutes for our food and between the two trays holding the food waited another 10 minutes. When we received the food it was good, very hot and clearly we had just been waiting for it to be cooked and not waiting for it while it sat under a warmer light.
There was minimal care given after the food was dropped off, we weren’t asked if we were missing items (we were), we weren’t asked if we needed anything else (we did). I asked our server, Mia, for hot sauce, syrup and a cup of ice and waited 15+ minutes for it before asking a different server to bring it instead. After the request for hot sauce Mia stopped by two other tables to take their orders instead of getting the sauce needed for the food we already had on the table. When we asked the second server for the hot sauce, she told us that our server had gone to the bathroom. Then we decided we also wanted to speak with a manager. The hot sauce did finally arrive however by this point my food was already beyond cold. After asking for a manager, the server who delivered the hot sauce was the only one who would even look at our table.
The manager took much longer. The same server who delivered the hot sauce came back by to check if the manager had come to the table yet. She shared an eye roll with us and went back to ask again. Finally the “manager” arrived (I wish I was exaggerating when I said 20 minutes later) and she really failed to listen to our concerns. I shared about half of the issues we had experienced before she spoke over me to say she would be right back. She also had an excuse after everything I brought up. She didn’t hesitate to throw her server under the bus, either. I believe her name was Shae.
There were 3 other tables in our section that left before their food arrived because they were just sick of waiting.
We ended up getting 20% off the check and my cold meal comped but the lack of care and inability to listen was far worse than a 20% discount. We had a pretty low bar given that we were walking into a Denny’s by the airport but this was so much worse than we could...
Read moreWe went here (Dennys Pacific Highway in front of Double tree Hotel) after work around 10:00pm. I work at the airport, so after work I'm pretty much hungry and most of the restaurant that I like are all closed. So it's either here or IHOP. So I choose this. We got there at 10:20pm. They greet us right away (which is nice) and when they try to take us to a table all tables are dirty (they're not even busy and nobody there) so she take us to the end table by the window, she gave us menu right away and gave us water (which is good again) but we waited 20MINUTES! before someone take our order (there are like 5 to 6 people in there) and there are 2 servers (which I would understand if the restaurant was busy BUT ITS NOT!). Anyways, after taking our order we waited another 30MINUTES for our food to come out (we order chicken fried steak breakfast and 8oz sirloin steak medium rare). I know that it wont take me 30MINUTES to cook everything (as I am a chef myself) if its not busy and our food came out COLD! I know its probably the servers fault but men! kitchen rule is to communicate! Where's the lead cook, sous chef or managers to push all the orders out when they know it'll get COLD!
Chicken fried steak looks like it just came out of the box, deep fried it then put gravy on top. My husband order over medium egg and it wasnt over medium. My sirloin steak supposed to be medium rare and it wasnt! It's dry and almost to well done! Mashed potatoes and gravy are cold as well as the broccoli!
I was so hungry and tired from work so I just stare at my plate, eat a little bit of it (just to taste) and I dont have energy to complain. So next time I know that I wont be coming back here. This is the worst breakfast place that...
