My family and I were impressed with the menu and really wanted to try the food. We arrive with 2 parties ahead of us, also waiting to be seated. The hostess/waitress/barista (already not looking good) seated us and took the orders for the 2 parties ahead of us but people kept walking in because the way they set up is people with to go orders need to go to the front.

My husband went up to ask if we should order directly instead, because she took 4 parties orders before us - so we were already waiting 15 minutes to even take our orders. She said no and it wouldn't be long. Then 2 more parties showed up and she took their orders ahead of us, AGAIN. Then the food for one of the parties were ready and she served them and went back to the counter, took a phone order. Then she took ANOTHER party's order again.

My husband went up AGAIN to ask if we could order to go, and the hostess/waitress/barista said it was going to be another 5-10 minutes to TAKE our order. By this time, we were fed up with waiting for at least ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and customer service that our orders were going to be taken. I also have to add, she told a party of 2 to move to the next table, which is unusual, but also I have to add, me and my husband and that party of 2 were people of color. The hostess/waitress/barista was catering to everyone else who were NOT people of color....just our family and that party of 2.

Our family left, we were tired of waiting and being overlooked. This restaurant/cafe needs better service and ways of taking orders. I can't imagine lunchtime where it would be chaos with the way that they treat people coming in, the order that...

Went here before we were going to embark on a cruise order a dish and asked for no eggs on it due to an allergy. ( The eggs were a layer to it so simple just don't add the eggs) When the dish came out there was egg. We informed the server they apologized and took the dish back. Things happen we weren't upset or rude just simply said that I had asked for no egg due to an allergy. A minute or two later another staff worker can out and started very aggressively talking with us. "You know this dish is supposed to have eggs right, why would you order it if you have an allergy. Did the server read you back the order" The resturant was busy at the time so we weren't 100% sure because it was loud we had a couple other dishes with changes and those all came out fine. Then she said" What you want to do get a refund or make us do it again it'll take 20 mins" We weren't in a rush so we asked for it again. She said OK and would put it in a to go dish for us. Then came back 3 mins later with the food in a Togo box and said they were able to do it quickly. We thanked her finished our meal and left. The allergy cause gastrointestinal issues so it wasn't until about an hour later that we realized they did not recook it just simply scrapped off the egg put it in a Togo box and gave it back to us. I recommend not going here they are...

I am the body. The body is I. Conformation invited into the body and I. The self. Light becomes brewed anew and I am seeing it.

.....

.....

I walk into the Cafe Opla. A barista greets me, asking what I would like to drink.

"Please, your parmesian egg. I'd imagine eating the parm-egg"

They call the order and I sit inside the cafe. I am who I am. I am who it is that is I. The language, is new to me. The barista is not new. The barista is what is known as professional. The service by a professional is ideal. I order an espresso latte as well as my egg.

When the barista performs the action, and produces the espresso, it is ideal too, as any professional would produce. A leaf adorns the top, in the shape of foamed milk.

They tell me the leaf art was not extra. They perform that service for joy only. It is beautiful.

The parmesian egg returns to me, it is cooked, and the fried egg is coated in parmesan. It creates sensation in my body like I have seen before but not together. Altogether it is new.

I perfer to be as I am now. My bed is full. There is a transparency to light of the windows and walls which is incredible. Thank you for serving me in...

Kept walking by during our stay and didn’t realize it was Vietnamese food! The menu looked good, so we stopped by in the AM for some coffees, and then in the afternoon for lunch. I got the Vietnamese Coffee (my first time having it), and while I didn’t realize it was going to be sweet (my fault for not looking up what’s in it), it was really good. For anyone that also doesn’t like or drink sweet drinks, it might be something to keep in mind. I’d recommend trying it once though. I’m also glad they did have heavy whipping cream and not just cream. We went back for lunch and both got the Vietnam Opla to go. They were tasty, light, and satisfying. Both times we went service was very good and efficient, even though the place was busy. The girl at the front was friendly without being overly superficial and had excellent manners. After I ordered my dish, I noticed my receipt showed an incorrect order; when I pointed it out, the girl was helpful and didn’t try to charge me for the mistake/difference in dish prices. I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re ever near the waterfront.

I came with a group of friends and was a bit disappointed. The portion was very small. They were out of bread and offered to substitute rice. What they did not inform us was that they actually charged extra for the rice substitute. Thankfully, one of the waitresses came to the table and acknowledged this error and offered to comp just my dish, my friends weren’t so fortunate. Also turned out that they were temporarily out of rice and then offered more “meat” which ended up being a single piece of bacon. Overall, this would have been a 1 star review if not for the waitresses’ offering additional items for comp. A few of my friends also waited 5-10 minutes after some of us received a dish before their dish arrived.

This cafe is like 50 feet from the hotel and it doesn't disappoint. I had the Vietnamese coffee, which I'll get next time with less ice. We got the pork sandwich and the sunny side egg sandwich, which was really good. The bun came nice and toasted, and the chopped cucumbers 🥒 and pickled carrots 🥕 with cilantro was such a nice and refreshing change from just a regular egg sandwich. They have some rice bowls and other creative egg bowls as well, which I expect to be just as good. Seating is smaller with maybe about 10 tables, but I think on nicer days grab your meal to go and sit by the bay.
