Unbelievable.... I have always loved coming here with my co- workers however last nights visit has me thinking I will NEVER return.
We went for a Bday gathering to have some food before going out for the evening.
The waitress was slow and oblivious to us leaving us at a small table and keeps telling us it will be about 15 minute for a larger table (totally fine with that).
However she moved us 3 times to a somewhat bigger table that still did not fit the 5 of us(not a big party at all). The third move has 2 people still left out at another table and she tells us that we can not move the tables together (which we have done every other time) so while we are distanced between friends eating. not the most pleasant eating experience... the food starts to come. Food was the same good but not great... We all begin to eat....ALL BUT ONE OF US. Poor girl sits there with nothing forever... How do you as a waitress not notice this? By the time we track this flaky waitress down she has no idea still. My friend didn't even want the item anymore, she then orders a 6$ half baked, which is delicious by the way. She gets her food when we are all finished eating and enjoys it.... The story gets way worse!!!!!
Time to cash out and she asks us if we are together or separate... we tell her 2 of us are together and the rest is separate.... she then brings the entire ticket and gives us a pen and asks us to itemize our items (she has no memorey that's fine so we do). We then discover gratuity has been included... But wait I thought that was for parties for 7 or 8... We couldn't even sit at the same table! as far as i am concerned this is a 4 top! and at this point I didn't want to tip at all.
When she returns and we politely explain what each one of us had, she then says "oh so you want me to go separate it?"... ahahaha YES you are the waitress here.... I just couldn't believe it....
Hold on Grand Finale...
She returns with our tickets. And hands my friend (the one who got left with no food) a $96 dollar bill??????? WHAT?
She put all our drinks on this poor girls tab. after trying to correct the matter we just paid and left annoyed.
My friend and i get home to find she still got charged for 2 half baked rolls. when she was forgotten about given a huge bill and charged double.
Where is her head at? I understand being busy but this is ridiculous... Lily you are a crap waitress and when you forget someones food your supposed to remember them! Not hand them a $96 dollar tab!
Worst of all we still have to go back because we were double charged... Im so mad. I told my friend this place was good and look what happened to her.
Lily needs to go.... No more Ohana nights for us....
Read moreMy husband went here first without me about a week ago because we had always passed this place on our way home from Belltown Market. The day that he went in, he had a good dining experience & was really excited to take me here for our 4 year anniversary. Sadly, today(7/13) it wasn't that great of an experience this time. When we got there, the hostess didn't notice that we had walked in because she was too busy at the bar side of the restaurant talking to a patron. When we were finally noticed by her, she kind of waved us into the dining room area, told us to pick an area to sit ourselves at & didn't give us any menus or water. Twenty minutes had passed by before a different waitress came by & asked us if we had been helped yet. After we said no, she went & got us the menu & some water. Our food was ok. We got a good California roll, fish & chips, & the adobo. My husband enjoyed his dinner but I was a little turned off by mine. The adobo was made differently from what I'm used to. The chicken was coated in like a cream of chicken sauce which is different to it being braised in soy sauce & vinegar(which is what I grew up on because I'm part Hawaiian. The restaurant was full of other people but you could still see the wait staff kind of goofing off in the back not really tending to the customers there. When we were finally able to get the attention of the hostess again to ask her for our bill, she seemed like we were bothering her asking her for it. Overall, the atmosphere was nice but it was the customer service that night wasn't what we expected & my husband was really excited to bring me there. Hopefully, we'll have a better experience if we decide to go...
Read moreHad one of the most unusual sushi experiences of my life at this restaurant in Seattle. Happened to walk in in the middle of karaoke night. The atmosphere was fun and energetic and completely unexpected because of how late it was. There was a DJ who was playing karaoke songs with singers who would come up every once in awhile. One of the most unusual things that was happening is that people were really talented and entertaining. One fella that came up had an amazing voice followed by a woman who also was incredibly talented. Took us by surprise and it made everything fun to be a part of. There was also this family and friends feel there almost as if you were a part of something that was very private. But you were welcome to be a part of... A party that other people were having that you just happened to crash and eat sushi while you watched. And the people there were lovely and nice and kind. Cuz sushi was amazing and we ended up having a great time. If you ever get a chance to wander around this side of town and want some sushi later in the evening. This is your spot. Seattle is a sleepy town so finding a place that's open a little later like this isn't easy. Thanks to everybody at the restaurant for such a...
