Nice ambiance inside, and service was friendly and prompt. I visited for food, but it looks like a nice comfortable place to kick back for drinks with relaxed staff. I had the fried pickles - expectedly salty but prepared well. Also, the reuben flatbread - nice amount of toppings and looked very appealing. There was something a bit off about the flavor which was different from a typical rueben sandwich, but that might have been due to the lack of rye bread. There was just the right amount of corned beef to kraut ratio, and the delicious mustard sauce was definitely the key flavor highlight. The flatbread dough itself wasn't to special, and probably is better suited to a pizza style (tomato/mozz pairing). Perhaps using a rye flatbread would have made it a total winner, but overall I was not disappointed. There were other items on the menu I wanted to try but simply didn't have the stomach space, so I will keep Denny Lodge on my list to return again in the future.

Stopped by to rest our weary soles. Sampled Delirium on tap (very good!), but decided to go with the Dragon Fire Mojito. I love having spicy cocktails! The mint and strawberry puree pair nicely with the Bacardi and jalapenos. For our food, we has the Blasted Cauliflower - think sweet and sour chicken, but with cauliflower. Had the perfect cooked crunch and the flavoring was perfect. Not much left as it was amazing.

GREAT FOOD!!!! Visiting Seattle on a girls trip and visiting my BFFs daughter. This gem is right around the corner. Came here for dinner & drinks and so HAPPY WE DID! We had the best food and our tummies are happy. We even splurged and had the doughnuts and an espresso. Yumm~O. I Will definitely come back next time.

My team and I used to go to a different local spot after work in SLU, but now we go to The Lodge pretty often and it's mainly because of the excellent level of customer service in addition to the great food. Jason, Zach, and Brandon are always so welcoming and always remember us when we return. Jason keeps us laughing, drinking, and eating and Brandon always checks in on us.

The food is pretty good here as well--I've had the quinoa bowls which are good if you're trying to be super healthy--the Lodge burger is FIRE and super filling if you're looking for a good burger--don't forget to add the sweet potato fries, the boom boom shrimp is my favorite appetizer, and I love the prickly pear martinis. I think that the brussel sprouts should be roasted longer but that's just my opinion--the flavor they add into the sprouts are tasty though!

I highly recommend this place for happy hour, dinner, or after...

This place is seriously being slept on. My partner and I stopped in for dinner one night out of sheer convenience, with no expectations, and were really impressed. Everything we tried was excellent - the menu has a lot of items you've seen before, but taken to the next level. The staff we've interacted with have been awesome people, the service is good, and the place itself is a nice cozy set up. Our server that first night told us about their brunch, so we finally stopped by for it today, maybe two months later. The weekend brunch menu is small, but well curated, and everything we tried was, again, excellent. The place is pretty new and it seems like SLU hasn't discovered it yet, because we got in with no wait. Definitely worth...
