Mr Lu's Burgers & Seafood — Restaurant in Seattle

Incredibly delicious, kind, and patient! The owner gets amazingly delicious fresh salmon straight off the boat and was not only kind enough to show me the beautiful fish that was thawing for the next day, she went above and beyond and gave us some smoked salmon to eat for later.

The food was phenomenal, unbelievably good. It's a shame I never came here before, but I'm happy that after several years in the U District I finally decided to stop in. All staff were incredibly friendly, the price was a steal, the food was beyond delicious, the service was speedy, and honestly I don't think I could say a single thing they need to improve on at all! They even were incredibly patient with my 9 year old sister who my wife and I were watching for the night, and brought a smile to her face with their aquarium and friendliness. If I could rate 6 stars, I would.

I recommend anyone looking for delicious fish, chicken, or beef burgers/sandwiches: visit this place ASAP! You won't regret it!

Probably the best salmon burgers in Seattle and my one of the few 5 star ratings! Its not easy to find a good place for salmon varieties but I was lucky enough to have this place near to my bnb.

Food: All the salmon burgers are really nice. Fillets are nicely grilled n soft (you might get 2 fillets somedays when lucky ;)), bun is mildly crispy but not too soft either. Their grilled onions are an unnoticed ingredient that escalate overall flavor dramatically.

The best part: prices! Never found a cheaper place for salmon.

Ambience: This place only loses points on the ambience. It feels more of a diner than a restaurant. You might see some smoke when you get inside. It needs some ventilation and a change of chairs/couches.

Recommendations: I would totally recommend the Spicy Blackened Salmon burger if you like things on the spicier (and delicious ;)) side. Haven’t tried the other menu yet as I never got tired of the salmon...

This is a wonderful astablishment with amazing food and USUALLY, amazing service. Every time I come to Mr lu's I have a wonderful time with mouth watering delights. Today however, I was hardly greeted by a "server" who let us take our seat plenty of time to figure out our order. When he finally came to take our order. I tried to order grundy fries. To which he responded "Phoenix fries" I assured him grundy fries and he responded again phoenix fries like I was stupid. This went on with me pointin at the menu item on the window, not on the plastic menu. I settled telling him if he doesn't have grundy fries that poutine fries would do. He accepted that answer but seemed go be glad that I was done speaking. Barely looking any one in the eye. I would like not to be ignored whilst...
