You Can Skip Vancouver for King Crab—Seattle Has You Covered for Now

I’ve been coming here for years - the go-to market for the neighborhood. All the little things you need in a pinch, great selection and variety of on-the-go bites, snacks and drinks. And it’s actually a fantastic deli. I especially recommend the breakfast sandwiches. Made to order and 1/3 the price of other local bougie spots, and light years better. Great family ownership: super kind, honest, friendly people. The best spot in Belltown or Uptown for daily needs and definitely to grab stuff for a day or evening by the water in Myrtle Edwards park.

I recently moved to the Olympus Apartments, and to my delight, I discovered the New Town Market right in my building. This delightful gem has quickly become my go-to spot, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.

First and foremost, let's talk about their deli sandwiches. They are nothing short of a culinary delight. The selection is impressive, and each sandwich is crafted with care. The combination of fresh ingredients, mouthwatering fillings, and perfectly baked bread creates a heavenly experience with every bite. Whether you're a fan of classics like turkey and Swiss or looking for something more adventurous, they have it all. The sandwiches here are a true treat for the taste buds.

What sets New Town Market apart from the rest is not just their fantastic deli sandwiches but also their gourmet market selection. The microbrews, cheeses, fruits, and assorted foods are a food lover's paradise. Whether you're planning a cozy night in, hosting a gathering, or simply craving a midnight snack, this market has you covered. The variety of choices is impressive, making it easy to find something for every palate.

Now, let's talk about the staff. They are an absolute delight. Their warm and friendly demeanor makes every visit a pleasant experience. Whether you're a regular customer or a newcomer like me, you'll be greeted with a smile and excellent service. The staff's helpfulness and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction truly stand out.

One of the real game-changers for me is that New Town Market is open late at night. It's a lifesaver on those occasions when hunger strikes after regular store hours. Knowing that I can rely on this place for a late-night snack or last-minute grocery needs is incredibly convenient and has saved me from countless late-night hunger pangs.

In summary, New Town Market at Olympus Apartments is a hidden treasure that I am thrilled to have discovered. From the scrumptious deli sandwiches to the diverse gourmet market offerings and the wonderful staff, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone living in or near Olympus Apartments. It's more than just a market; it's a culinary haven that has made my life here even more enjoyable. Thank you, New Town Market, for being there when I...

My husband and I moved a few blocks from New Town about 6 months ago and it became a quick favorite. The beer and wine selection is always stocked with great new local choices and it is the perfect spot if you need to grab a snack or a great sandwich.

Why the 3 stars? The inconsistency of the sandwich’s and sometime the customer service. The sandwich’s is what first attracted us to this location because we love a great local deli. However, recently something has been off and the only time the sandwich’s are good is if the owner is there.

I was prompted to write this review because last night my husband and I decided to go for one of our favorite sandwich's there, the Ruben, the person behind the counter did not listen to how I wanted it and the meat tasted bad and so did the sauerkraut. (& our second sandwich was not even toasted as we requested) Since this has happened multiple times now, we are becoming a little frustrated and considering moving on to another local deli...

I’ve been shopping here for about a year, living just across the way. Their hours are magical -7am-11pm… like, dreamy, right?! Ttheir employees are very friendly - Abenizer (spelling?) always plays some of the best beats and is always kind & respectful. They have some of the best snacks, and although I only dabble in alcoholic drinks, they have a wide selection of beer, wine, and everything in between.

I’ll be very, very sad to not be across the street from them once I move out, but I’ll take full advantage of the most convenient convenience market...
