I’ve been practicing yoga in Seattle for over 15 years and this studio is by far my favorite. It is welcoming to all levels of experience and the diversity in teaching styles keeps daily practice interesting and engaging. Every teacher brings a unique expertise and flavor to their classes and I’ve enjoyed learning different skills from each one of them.
The facility itself is spotless and the amenities are the best in the city. One of my favorite things to do is take a nice run along the waterfront park and rinse off in the beautiful showers before class where they offer towel service and Malin and Goetz body wash and hair product (!!!).
Always warm, always welcoming and always looking for ways to better serve their community, TAKE CARE is a leader in their industry and I am grateful to practice there.
Also, the owner Anna, has moved through the trials of opening a small business during the middle of a pandemic with grace and extremely mindful consideration of everyone’s safety and comfort. I trust her and her team to make smart decisions on behalf of my health and...
Read moreBeautiful space with top notch amenities and most of the instructors are excellent. I had a class pack here a year ago but let it expire mostly unused. My wish was that the instructors were either encouraged or able to provide inclusive queuing for a multi-level class. While most instructors I’ve had here do encourage you to do what feels right for your body in the moment, when the queue offered takes the body straight into a pinnacle pose without offering students off-ramps along the way, the environment feels exclusive to those able or wanting the advanced options. I’m sure this is not the instructors’ intention, but it is the result. I thought maybe things had changed in the months since I more regularly took class, so tried again recently. Unfortunately, things remain the same. Maybe the solution is to make it explicit that classes here are queued for...
Read moreI was in town for a few days after a long road trip, and in need of a good sweat and yoga class to help ground myself. I heard while climbing at SBP (which I also recommend) that I should check out Take Care Yoga. Such a great aesthetic and energy immediately coming into the studio space. I took advantage of the new student unlimited week, and took a morning class with Natalie, such a great and “spicy”class, she really brought mindfulness to the practice. I also had the opportunity to take class with Anna, the studio owner, and was loved the difference that you can find within instructors. Great instructors on either side, great aesthetics, and overall positive vibes throughout. Thank you for the humbling classes and recommendations for my time...
