We were excited about a new spot opening up. Went on-line to place a take out order only to find out, they CHARGE A FEE to use their website or app (SAY WHAT?)!! We like to order with an app or on-line to ensure that there is no confusion with our order. NOT paying a fee to use anyone's app so we decided to go into the deli to order. My wife ordered her sandwich first. She ordered just turkey and mayo on a baguette, pretty simple. The cashier responded, do you want that on white? "No, on a baguette." Cashier responded, OK and moved on to my order. I stopped her and said, she (meaning my wife) just wants Turkey with mayo. The cashier looks to my wife and says, you don't want bacon? No. You don't want spring mix? No. You don't want mustard. No, I just want turkey and mayo. A couple of clicks and she moves on to me. I ordered the BBQ Crunch sandwich, on Rye. I asked for black olives, pickles and roasted peppers, along with everything the sandwich comes with. I repeated it again and then she repeated it back. I said again, on Rye. 10 minutes later, we get our order and head home. Once we got home, as soon as I opened my sandwich, I noticed it was on a baguette, not Rye bread. My wife opened her sandwich and could tell right away it was covered in toppings, in fact they were ALL of the toppings that were supposed to be on MY sandwich and guess what, my sandwich had no toppings! My wife doesn't like any of the toppings I ordered so her sandwich went right in the trash. That was $12 wasted. This is the EXACT reason we order on-line/on the app. McAlister's is ABSURD in charging a fee to customers just the ensure their order is correct. You had your shot, you blew it. We...
Read moreWe visited McAlister’s Deli for the first time thanks to a T-Mobile Tuesday deal, and we’re so glad we did! We weren’t familiar with the restaurant, but since the offer was only valid that day, we decided to give it a try.
When we arrived, the parking lot was full — clearly, a lot of T-Mobile customers had the same idea! The restaurant was new, clean, and brightly lit, and even though the line was long due to the promotion, the staff handled the rush like pros.
Sam, the cashier, greeted us warmly with a smile and great energy. When I asked if it was always this busy, he laughed and said it’s been non-stop all day because of the T-Mobile crowd. I ordered my entrée and the Wicked Tea (highly recommend!), and we decided to dine in.
During our meal, Part stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. The entire team worked together seamlessly, keeping the atmosphere positive despite the crowd. We told them we’d definitely be back, and Part joked, “That’s great—but maybe not on a Tuesday!”
Overall, the customer service was outstanding, the food was fresh and delicious, and the team’s attitude under pressure was impressive. Big kudos to Sam, Part, and the entire McAlister’s crew for making our first visit such a great experience. We’ll definitely...
Read morei work along the strip so i was waiting for this place to open for a while. panera bread closes and this place opens up! i went for the first time today and ordered a pick 2- broccoli cheddar soup and harvest chicken salad sandwich, along with a sweet tea and an extra side of mac and cheese. the cashier was very kind however was still training as a national team trainer had to step out to assist. the trainer kept asking “are you okay?” you got it? are you good?” etc but the cashier needed help. when she thought she had everything i should have asked to to repeat the order or double check myself, as she forgot the mac and cheese. i thought the price total of $20~ was a good deal until they handed me the receipt and the mac and cheese was missing. i just let it slide. a member handed me my sweet tea- tea is OK. food was delivered quickly, so went back to work to eat. sandwich was messy and falling apart- and the flavor is is bit too heavy on the mayo. broccoli cheddar soup is OK.
not super impressed with this visit, but i know things are starting up and i will give yall...
