After wanting some authentic tacos, I found this little gem. The reviews are great, so I stopped. It's next to a laundry mat in a small strip and looks run down, but don't be discouraged. I ordered two tacos, one steak, one chorizo. Topped with fresh cilantro and onion. I waited five minutes, maybe. You can see them cook your food. There is a good but of sitting space inside. The people who took my order were super friendly. The tacos were exactly what I was craving. Both chorizo and the steak were tender, with no big chunks. It was seasoned perfectly. I ordered a side of sour cream. The tacos come with a spicy red salsa and a mild green salsa. The mild green salsa was more chunky. The red one was smooth. I prefer spicy, and it did the job. Just enough spice and heat to be noticed, but not overwhelming. I was hoping they had pombazos on the menu, but they didn't. No worries! If you're in the area, stop by. Will...

This place was awesome. Easily as good, if not better, than other local restaurants offering the same dishes. We ordered (to-go) a pollo huaraches, chorizo gordita, asada gordita, bean & cheese pupusa and some rice. Everything had great flavor, was PIPING hot even by the time we got home and the salsa (both hot and mild) was great. The portion size was fair for the price, and I would say that two items off the menu is enough for one person. I also wanted to mention that the kitchen looked super clean and all of the ingredients were neatly organized on the back shelves. They have a health/cleanliness rating of 100 A posted, which I'm not sure I have ever seen before in any other small restaurant/fast food joint. There was only one woman - taking orders, cooking, and serving to the sit-down customers - and she was very sweet.

TL;DR This place was delicious and cheap. We will be...

So Tuesday evening when I arrived back home in AtIant was not in the mood to cook so I figured I would get some tacos. Normally it's Del Taco or a Taco Bell something fast but I figured I would try somewhere new. I looked at this place up online and after reading the reviews I figured Hey, it can't hurt.

So I arrived to what was some type of strip mall with a taco place attached to a laundromat and I was like here we go! The place was very clean, the woman that was taking the orders was extremely polite and let me tell you… when I took a bite into that burrito and the tacos I ordered it was heaven! I often find that sometimes the best places are not the most lavish places so when you see this place in real life, definitely give it a shot. I wish I had bought more tacos on this visit but I will be back at some...

Awesome little taco joint. Legit Mexican street tacos. It's connected to a laundromat and the ambiance screams "hole in the wall" but the food is fantastic. Perfect for takeout but not for sit down. They make everything in house and the owner was excited to walk us through the menu. I love small locally owned places like this where you know where your money is going. My wife and I both had an assortment of tacos and they were all delicious. I've never cared about rice but even that was flavorful. They also make their own salsa in hot and mild flavors. Both were good but I prefer the hot. It had just a little kick but not enough to overwhelm the taste of the tacos. We will definitely come by here again and grab some tacos to go.

My buddy and I tried J's for the first time today. The menu looked nice and was reasonably priced. The lady in the kitchen was cold and didn't make eye contact or smile. For the carne asada, taco combo plate, and a bottle of coke, it was $27. We sat outside at the table and chairs next to the front door. When the food was ready, the lady knocked on the window rather than bringing the food to the table even though we were the only customers. My buddy said his steak tacos were "just ok." My carne asada was super tough and had the texture of beef jerky. The rice, beans, and guac were fine. Overall, it wasn't terrible but definitely below average for a taco shop. Will not return.
