As I sit here in the booth, digesting and watching my family eat I decided I'd do the review while it's fresh in my head and my stomach.

Honk Kong Garden was delicious! Staff was friendly and prompt. The decor was interesting with a clash of traditional Chinese atmosphere and then BAm! Moose and Elk head mounted on the wall, but because we live in the mountains it's fitting 😉.

Traditional Chinese food of course but still great tasting.

Today's dinner consisted of special fried rice, fried chicken wings, combination appetizer, pork and custard buns, sweet and sour pork, siomai, and beef wonton.

Special fried rice had plenty of shrimp and the vegetables were fresh, not too oily.

Fried chicken was great and crispy and not oily.

The sweet n sour pork had a great glaze that wasn't overpowering the meat.

The buns and siomai were steamed, fresh, soft and plenty of filling.

The beef wonton came in a large bowl with plenty of the wonton and a good amount of bok choy and beef strips.

They even included a small bowl of egg flower soup and was great to start.

The combination appetizer has serving of 3, pot stickers, egg roll and prawns. Everything crispy as it should, the pot stickers were excellent and tasted fresh.

Overall very happy and will return again! Keep up...

This is possibly the worst Chinese place I've ever been to. Normally my expectation are rather low and easy to meet, but this one really stands out. We ordered 6 dishes. Soup ingredients were OK, but broth was "watery". Combination fried rice was the only other consumable dish we had. Mongolian beef was not mongolian, it was sweet, not a bit spicy and didn't look like it normally does, they probably used the wrong sauce and for some reason it had cabbage in it too. Hong Kong noodles were really sleazy and had a horrible smell. Snow pear beef didn't tasted good and every piece on appetizer sampler plate was over fried and tasted over burned oil. We did leave a tip and it meant to be to the waitress, because the waitress was nice. But as she picked up the signed check and walked towards the kitchen she spoke (in chinese) to who possibly is a chef there and they laughed and looked our way. Well, I'm sorry I didn't meet your expectations on tip amount (I regret giving any tip at this point). I'm glad that I gave you something to laugh about. Your food is trash and I don't think there's interest or will to improve, but you can laugh all you want. For all of you looking for a chinese food in Sonora, you will do much better if you just go to...

The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in. The service was rude and it took two trips for the waitress to get all of our drink orders. The ceiling Has the same drywall as a primary school (wholes everywhere). The ventilation system obviously hadn’t been cleaned, I could see dust and cobwebs draping it from the floor. The decor was tacky as all getout and still had Christmas decorations. A shouting match between a small girl and a teenage boy broke out in the kitchen halfway through our meal, the boy then proceeded to bring the girl out with the customers to clean her knee or something? She was yelling and screaming the entire time. He was also the one who brought us our food but instead of placing it in front of whoever ordered he just dropped the plate at the end of the table so we had to move all the plates including a bottle of soy sauce and chopsticks to the according people. The food also gave my partner a stomachache before we had even left the restaurant. The bathroom stunk nasty....

This a neat little Chinese restaurant. I've been told it was a steakhouse before, and so there is a whole wall with various local cattle brands burned into a rough sawn wood wall. The current owners have added Chinese style roofing made out of aluminum cans inside as well as various other Chinese decorations. This is the only Dim Sum place in the area, and they have several options during certain hours. If you're walking downtown, they have the regular front door, but parking is very limited. They have plenty of parking in the back. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a huge menu, so there are plenty of choices. Food is good. If you're into Boba type drinks, they have some great flavors, but their portion sizes are smaller than expected. Also, most of their tofu options don't come braised/fried like other local restaurants, so if you like it that way, you'll have to request it. Well worth the visit!

I am from Los Angeles California, I came to visit this beautiful city. Today my husband and 3 children we decided to come to this restaurant for the first time Date: 11-27-2023 around Time: 7:00 pm. Story time:‼️‼️ ——> We we’re hungry so we decided to stop to this restaurant. we hadn’t eaten anything all day. As you can see the food from the plate was almost empty because we were sooo hungry, I’m be honest we did Not like the food wasn’t good at all. The food wasn’t fresh like post it on the reviews. food was preheated. rice was stail and hard. They charge us $170. Ain’t worth it going there.
