Definitely NOT recommended!!!! The worst Mexican food we’ve ever had. The service wasn’t good either. Five people ordered a total of 5 super burritos to go. We paid around $90 which wouldn’t have been a problem except for the fact that after a pretty decent wait time, every single burrito was made incorrectly. None had beans nor sour cream nor cheese! We called to inform the restaurant that the whole order was wrong and that since the food wasn’t good anyway, we would like to return the food for a refund. Rudolfo was rude and arrogant, obnoxious & disrespectful. He said we could not have a refund but they could remake the food. He repeated this multiple times saying “Maybe you can’t hear me. Let me say it a little slower for you!” Bottom line, the food and the service are both nasty. Don’t eat here. Update: After returning to get our refunds, we were only refunded for half of what we paid for because we had eaten some of a couple of the burritos. It took a few bites to realize that ingredients were missing and that the food was actually not to our liking. We come from a city with amazing Mexican food and good customer service. But to finalize everything, the racist elderly woman at the counter threatened to call the police on us. Then she actually instructed another woman to call the police all because we simply requested a refund. The same elderly woman says to us, and I quote, “That’s why they don’t like you guys!” This then led us to also return $92 in souvenir jewels that we had purchased there also that we originally did not intend to return. We didn’t want to take any of the hateful and bad energy that this woman and Rudolfo had demonstrated. Whoever replies to this, talk to your staff about how they treat people! I’m sure you will lie and deny some more on the post. But you know it’s all true and you need to talk to them about the racist comments and rudeness. Nobody deserves the treatment that...
Read moreDon't come to this restaurant, super unprofessional the cashier charged me 15% free without asking me, she charged me a higher price than what the board said and they don't give you the purchase receipt maybe so you don't see what they are charging you and he didn't even apologize or return the difference to me when I asked her why, instead she told me he charged 15% gratuity because the waiters didn't want to work without a tip anymore, you don't say that to a customer when You do not know how much he is going to leave you as a tip and instead of that, you better charge him without asking him? He showed me a very small sign that he had in the corner of the glass counter that said that customers were charged 10% on orders larger than $20 and 15% on orders over $80 and mine was $45 more or less and He charged me 15% and when I asked him, despite knowing that he was wrong, he did not apologize nor did he try to return the difference to me, instead he began to discuss why they compulsorily charge the tip, terrible taste to be part of customer service I feel bad for being having this conversation in front of the customers. I hope that each client asks for their receipt and checks it well and is consistent with their prices. first and last time I visit this restaurant and I hope this lady can get some training in how to treat customers and how to be the face of...
Read more⭐️Disclaimer: I go to a lot of Mexican restaurants , every time and everywhere I go.⭐️
The good: This place is at the very convenient place by the lodge where we stayed at. Also across the street from shopping center. I decided to try this place since I avoid 5 star places due to them losing their authenticity.
I very much liked their customer service, while resting at the lodge, local restaurants were nothing but super nice. We got our food handed to us, and it general it was smooth transaction.
The bad. Food was nothing what u would expect from Mayas Mexican grill. Maybe if it was Stevens grill i wouldn’t be so bothered due to the lack of flavor and spice in the food.
The ugly: for every transaction they charge gratitude fee. It was similar to the big hotels charging “resort fee” because they can’t compete with the high end hotels and good prices. I specifically despise “hidden” fees because it doesn’t give a fair chance for me to truly be grateful. In this case, I would leave a tip for customer support but not for food. Be ready to spend 15+ for every single dish (plus fee!)
Overall this wasn’t a terrible place and they cooked my food fast. I rate it 1 star because there is no chance I would avoid going there again, unless they change their...
