Vinny's Pizza — Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe

My main criteria for ordering pizza in Southlake Tahoe on a Sunday night was that it would be delivered to me without me having to put on anything but a bathrobe my second criteria was that I could get a high and I would be a tasty pie I’ve had some pretty mediocre pizzas before in Southlake Tahoe including ones that were nearby Harvey’s which is where I usually stay but I was looking for a really good New York style pizza now first if we’re gonna be honest I was going to order from Domino’s however the dominoes would Not deliver to the hotel and that’s how I ended up choosing Vinnys Because the last time I ordered Vinnys they were kind enough to deliver directly to the hot tub where I consume two pizzas jalapeño poppers and Italian salad in the hot tub and they didn’t pass any judgment know the one thing is that I ordered a large pizza that was half cheese half supreme and I ordered it with a side of ranch and I was expecting it to be a long wait however they said it would come in 45 minutes to an hour and it came in 45 minutes so I was very happy but it didn’t come with a side of ranch when the delivery person arrives they said sorry we don’t have any ranch however after eating 6 PM slices of pizza I’m glad that I didn’t have the ranch because I think I would’ve felt a little ill if I had been dipping it in ranch No it’s OK about the ordering process from Denise when you order from Benicia to call up and make an order over the phone which is a little less convenient and make an order on the website or an app but it’s OK because then I get to sweet someone who won eligible about pizzas and what goes on them to someone who helped us with the ordering process and was very friendly and took all our information except for a name when we were placed in the pizza order I am and so was pretty good pretty seamless overall I very much enjoyed eating my pizza in bed in my bathrobe and honestly I think I would do it again it might be one of the best pizzas in Southlake Tahoe I also like that when I ate the whole pizza The whole pizza I think was a family space or whatever the largest size of the whole pizza was aided in bed and I fell straight asleep after I brush my teeth and put the box outside of the hotel room and I didn’t even make me that today which I appreciate four stars PS...

Great Pizza, Great Service, Great Staff!! We arrived on a Friday for a weekend soccer tourney. We were planning a Saturday night team party on the beach and I was in charge finding great pizza for 50 people! Vinny's pizza was my first choice based on their quality and reviews. I went in to ask about ordering 10 pizzas for the next night & learned that they already had multiple large orders & couldn't accommodate us with certainty. The Mgr., Andy, told me he didn't want to commit to us and then let us down. (A RARE quality in a young guy and in the world of pizza!) After talking with me re: our needs, evaluating their orders, their limitations due to oven space/cooking time.... Andy found a way to make it work! He not only came through with fantastic pizza, he had our 10 pizzas ready when I rolled in 15 minutes early to pick them up!! We have ordered from here before and it was delicious. However, we got it for pick up this time and they had messed up what I had ordered. The staff did fix it, but they were very rude. In addition, they charge a "service charge" if you spend over a certain amount I guess. They failed to tell me that and I brought it up asking what the price difference was because it wasn't on my receipt. They were very rude about my questions and did not seem to want to help out. One guy ended up leaving to the back and sending the other guy out to deal with me. I told him that he needs to tell people about that charge, because there is also a place to tip on the regular card swiped receipt and if I had tipped there and then was charged an automatic tip in addition, I would have been way more mad than I already was with their rude attitude. They did fix their mistake with my food, but by the time that was done, all my other food was cold. It was a $80 order...
