I don't go in to downtown Stillwater so this was my first stop in to Ziggy's. I got there early as parking could be spotty on a Friday night. I scored a spot on Chestnut right across from the side door, thankfully it was free three hour parking only enforced until 6:0. I arrived for a live music gig. Great stage and not in a corner so you could kind of fan out around it at the standard height tables, there were some high top tables but those were mostly in front of the floor to ceiling windows along the east side of the room. When I arrived the bar was lined w stools. As it got closer to the music starting, I noticed all the stools had been removed, nice touch. The acoustics of the room were great. I felt like there was no less than four to six bouncers between the two doors, so didn't run in to any issues. The staff was attentive and also grateful that they didn't hassle me for not ordering anything when I first arrived. Grateful for a self serve water station across from the bar kind of near the sage; no need to hassle a server when you can just grab your own! Not that i watched any of them but there was plenty of tvs hubg about that you should be able to catch several of your favorite games at once. Ziggy's Stillwater was a great venue for a Friday night and to take in some local live music. I had went to a bar previously in the night and my friend said "I think ziggys's is doing karaoke, it looks hopping lets go there." so we finished our 1 drink and headed over to karaoke. It took us a while to get drinks at ziggys because it was busy at the bar. Chris was a little helpful but it didn't make things go by faster. Later in the night we had a conversation with him and he was very unfriendly. He walked away in the middle of our conversation. Just very rude. I come downtown 2-3 times a week. I LOVE downtown Stillwater. I will NEVER come to this bar when he is working again. He was very unprofessional. He did not help the bartender when she was super busy. Also there was a girl who I don't even think was on the clock literally screamed at everyone to leave at 2:00am on the dot to leave, as i just got a new drink.
