I stormed out of this restaurant with half a desert still on my plate because I was absolutely furious over the incredibly disappointing service I experienced. For the district manager keeping notes, Check #503 at 10:20 pm, 9/28/24 I don’t remember the name of our server. It was busy and we had to wait an understandably long time for a table. That was no issue. But when our food came not once did my waiter come by to ask if we needed anything, if the food was okay, if we needed refills, or more importantly when we wanted the dessert we preemptively ordered. I wanted ketchup with my fries and I could’ve used some napkins and I also believe our Sliders were missing onions, but I don’t believe it’s my responsibility to beg for things that a waiter should be regularly checking on in case her tables need. As it’s seemingly a waiter’s responsibility to keep her tables attended to. Our glasses of water wet empty for nearly 30 minutes before a refill was offered. And she did not even ask if I was finished with my entree before taking my plate from the table. When we finally received our Halloween themed orange vanilla ice cream desert, the icecream was just regular colored vanilla. Which isn’t a huge deal it’s literally just food coloring, but it would be nice to know an item is out or altered as the order is being placed or even as it’s being served. So the guest at least understands why something is the way it is. There’s also no acknowledgement of delays or lack of attentive service. A simple “sorry Its really busy but I haven’t forgotten about you” would’ve saved the experience. Just a side eye and even worse, planting the check down on the table without any comment, eye contact, or reasonable gesture. While very clearly in the mood to help...
Read moreThe food was decent but overall I felt like I was forgotten about or ignored throughout the entire experience.
I said my hellos to the hostesses and asked if it was open seating or do I wait for a server. The only response I got was that the bar had open seating, not even a hello or them asking me if I would like a table. So I go up to the bar and I’m greeted by the bartender which was nice until it came time when I got my meal and my drink. The food was okay, not hot and the presentation was messy, but tasted alright nonetheless though there was certainly no chipotle. Tasted like salmon with black pepper more than actual chipotle.
As for the drink, it was terrible. I only took three sips to know that my drink was messed up (I’m surprised that they messed up an Arnold Palmer tbh) I was waiting for my bartender to check up on me but he never bothered to. It was only until the female bartender asked if I was okay and I told her that my drink was extremely bitter. She had a puzzled look on her face noting that my drink didn’t look right and offered to remake it for me. I declined but of course she made another one which tasted great! Though I was already annoyed at that point and kindly asked if they could just strike it from the tab but I’ll still pay for the salmon.
When I asked for the tab, the female bartender had to grab the guy bartender to get it. All he did was print out the receipt, hand it to me, and walked away again. Not even waiting if I was going to pay by card so i had to wait another 5 minutes for him to show up again. He seemed more interested in talking with certain patrons and cleaning than checking up on any of his other patrons.
I won’t be coming back and I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you wanted...
Read moreFirst time going to this BJs restaurant, will be my last time. My girlfriends and I went to celebrate a special occasion. The waiter we got was rude, kept getting in our conversation but not just friendly more like judgemental and sarcastic. When he first came to our table and asked if we were all paying together we said separately he made a facial expression as he it bothered him. I understand, it was going to be more work but we are there to pay for our food as well as service. When we were about to order I asked about wings sauces regular dry rubs etc. which was the most popular he replied "tomato tomatoe" with a bit of sarcasm. Then when it was time to pay we all got our receipts he mixed a couple of items and added them to different receipts, he fixed them a few times because he kept getting confused after a few times of that we could see the frustration on his face, he messed up once again and come back with two receipts and said "ok so what am I doing with these" (with an attitude) mind you this was after a few times of us telling him what we ordered and only two of six ordered lemonade everyone else had water only. He finally had it correct we asked for to go cups for the full size lemonades by this time he looked really upset so he actually sent someone else to bring the kids size cups. We called the manager to let him know that we were not happy with the service, he listened and said "thank you for the feedback". That's was literally all, so I made sure to let him know we were going to post reviews he didn't seem to care. Well...
