I wish I could give 0 stars, this 1 star is for the bar back that did all the work pretty much. He brought my son and I our food, brought the drinks (except my beer maybe his age?), I served many restaurants I've worked in 5 star dinning restaurants and mostly upscale restaurants beside the point my servers service was complete trash, worst service I've had in a very long time, and coming from a husband and father with 3 kids we got out once in a while and people tend to give us bad service thinking we wont tip as good because we got 3 kids is what I think? I came to Chili's tonight with just my son, father and son date, was hoping for some good food and a good one on one time with my boy. The best thing out of this meal was my sons kids meal with chicken strips and french fries, he ate almost all of it. Second best thing was my beer. The Spicy shrimp tacos were completely gross shrimp was hard(overcooked ) and cold, the boneless wings taste like they have sat in the freeze for well past the date they should have, also the loaded french fries or whatever were greasier than my hair gel, and could've been made at home. all in all is the service, I careless about the food that is served if I get good service, service is what makes people money. Of course I tipped 20% because I always tip 20% as I previously said that I was a server and lived off tips. Bartender wasn't slammed, she had some time on her hands, after the food came out never got asked how the food was or if anything was wrong, I ate one shrimp taco and left everything else as I obviously didn't like it and something was wrong, never got asked only "do you need a box" I am not looking for handouts or stuff to be taking off my bill as I didn't complain about the food, I have never wrote a review on any restaurant even some of the bad ones but this tops it all off for me, I or my family will definitely not visit any of these chains again. Better off getting food from a B ranked hole in the wall. With that being said, I highly recommend you look at your options before coming here for a date or whatever you decide to do. Read moreThis location is awful from the staff to Mangement. Even if the bar area is empty they make you wait to be seated even with 10 or more chairs empty. They never have enough staff , management walks around barking orders yet never lifts a finger to help staff. They serve food with no pride at all. Imagine getting food served in a bathroom stall. This is how my experience has been at this location. The presentation is sloppy never looks like the commercial or menu pics. They take no pride at all. They do a poor job of listening to the customer. The young lady greeter with colored glasses has a smart mouth when a customer voices a concern , seems to not get the fact that customers pay the bill. She has no problem challenging a customers concern. She a very immature young lady. The pregnant female manager isn’t much better she’s jumps the gun without getting the facts. just assume the customer did something wrong without even asking what happened shows very aggressive behavior towards customer again without getting the facts. Seems they have an issue with men voicing there concern as to the level of service they are receiving. Can’t help to think there’s a level or discrimination to people of color at this location. When you call to ask for managers name the employees puts you on terminal hold and hang up. There’s no accountability to the staff or management at this location. The management company just looks at the number never taking to account what’s costing them revenue. Maybe they should consider secret shopper so it makes the staff more accountable to themself and customers. Read moreThe food was okay overall, but definitely not the best. The steak was chewy and had quite a bit of fat, although the mashed potatoes and green beans were good. The chips were a little salty, but still enjoyable. Service time was surprisingly quick, which I appreciated. My chips and salsa (with water) was given to me extremely fast after ordering.
Unfortunately, the alcohol drinks I had were a major letdown. I tried the new margarita freeze with strawberry, which just wasn’t my type, and the Deep Eddy Strawberry Lemonade, which I usually love, was so extremely sour, it was almost unbearable. I couldn’t even finish either.
Cleanliness was also very disappointing. My seat, table, and menus were sticky, and my knife wasn’t clean nor ‘polished. On top of that, the restroom was in terrible condition.’ The smell was bad, surfaces didn’t look wiped down, the toilet seats had residue on them, and there was toilet paper hanging off the stalls. I actually ended up getting sick after my meal, which I’ve never experienced at any other restaurant.
I usually tip 25–30%, but because of this experience I only left 20%. That said, I want to note that my server Isabella did a great job. She was very fast, efficient, and friendly, and none of this was her fault. She handled her role very well despite the circumstances.
