The security here is over aggressive and ridiculous. Went here to celebrate a birthday with a group of friends and paid to ride the Bull and someone had a problem with our group going back to back and became extremely angry. Instead of security asking what was going on they immediately became physical with our group of 6 ( all POC/African American) and physically assaulted all of us including 3 women. I would NEVER recommend this place to any POC that care about their lives. This second rate security team felt the need to hold a Black man down with their knee on his neck when we would have peacefully left if given the chance. The police department even mentioned that the security there are over aggressive and this happens all the time. Please also read other recent reviews, employees will make their own tip on your card and racially profile guests about their identity. I would give them 0/5 stars if it were an option. What was supposed to be a celebratory night for a group of people is now something that has traumatized me because we were discriminated against because the color of our skin. I would not want this to happen to anybody else ESPECIALLY POC folks. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE AND THEIR PREJUDICE OVER...

CANT GIVE NEGATIVE 5! The place truly is as bad as ALL the one star comments said. I went w my friends to make our own decision about the place… definitely should’ve listened to the previous comments. It seems that the security guards and police are working together to get money, take customers, get the liqueured up, the security guards start fake problems… then the police come in and take them away very peculiarly. I frequent at westgate so I’m not new and no fan of drunk people ruining fun but this was the bar and the police acting malicious in unison instead of drunk customers. I saw a girl dancing and vibing… hurting no one get picked up and thrown out for “acting out” and a man that was dancing in the circle also got booted for being to “aggressive” even though everyone was cheering for him. Bar vibe is fine. Slow Sunday night DJ was good. Unfortunate that there was unethical employee who increased my tip amount to more than 50% of total bill. I spent bit over $133 total, but was charged a bit over $200. This is fine. Next day, I called and even came to the bar to prove that I, as credit card owner, does not consent with tip amount. A waitress kept saying they only go by whatever is written on tip amount, while she provided no way of proving who wrote the tip amount. She suddenly became quite defensive and offensive by saying she's doing me a favor and trying to help, while only solution she provided is nothing on the bar side and pushed me to go through bank dispute. She probably didn't know I am doing Her the favor by not raising red flag of the business through dispute and wasting my time going to the bar to prove I as card holder.
