Wendy's — Restaurant in The Colony

Was out to visit my younger brother, and my mother on 9/24/17.. Decided to run down and grab a bite at supper time. Found the place empty, and a couple younger employees were lounging in the dining area watch a rap channel on the TV's. Fine I suppose, if tgere suppose to have such on the public dining area. Nothing against tge music one way are the other, just mot what I picture for an area that young children eat. As most are trouble enough to get to sit still to eat a meal. Th e young man taking our orders at the counter, was rather inconsiderate to my elderly mother, and her troubles with the menu boards there. She was definitely trying his young patients for sure, as it very obvious by his eye rolls , and huffy posture. Drink dispenser was dirty with soft drink overflow, and an excessive amount of ice in the catch basin. Appears to not have been cleaned in some time from the looks of it. Although the tables appeared to be clean it took three before we found one that wasn't sticky from who knows what smeared across the surfaces of them. Worse, we found that all three combo meals suffered from.apparently being under the warming lights. All different types of sandwiches, are burgers a of sorts. All dried out, semi warm for lack of better description. And an over abundance of condiments, as in the mustard and mayo was dripping out with each bite. The topper of it all was when we were leaving. As I was holding the first door for my mother, two of the young lady employees, never never paid any attention to her, and cut her off midstep from getting to the doorway. Wasn't until they seen the look that was on my face, did they even appear to realize what they had just done. Yet never an excuse us, are I'm sorry for their rudeness from either one. One did hold the outer door for us to pass through, but never made eye contact from what I could see bring up the rear. Not even after all three of us gave her a thank you for her holding the door. Which by the way I never received from.either one of them for my efforts of holding the door for them, are the fact that I didn't express my feelings on their rudeness. Which was very lucky for them I held my tounge. As a big big pet peeve is disrespectful people, which I assure you they both made top of the list for the day!! Don't believe any of us will be returning there in the near, are far future. So...

Don't ever use this Wendy's! Employees are extremely rude and very slow. Waited in line for WELL OVER 10 minutes to be told that they could not make change for the bill that I had. Absolutely ridiculous. No where is it posted that they do not accept bills any larger than X or X!! The manager who could care less about my business came to the window and said that it is a company policy that after 10 p.m. they can take no bill larger than a $20 bill. Most of the time if they cannot accept over a certain dollar denomination there are stickers on the Windows stating that. He could not show me anything that prove that company policy would not allow him to take my money . I am also in retail management, and I know that where a customer is concerned I can make change - it might take me a moment, but change can definitely be made. I would have gladly waited a few moments for him to get in the safe to get me my change . Since the management cares so little about their customers then looks like this location lost my business for a lifetime and I hope that everyone else follows suit because all around horrible experience!

Had I have been the manager I would have gifted a customer and $8.39 order SOLELY because they waited so LONG in line due to my employees incompetence but I especially would not have made my customer feel like I didn't care about her business no...

I am a delivery person and frequented this location on my route when in the area. I purchased 2 #1 combos and had a bad experience with the food temperature. The fries were cold, overcooked, and soggy, I immediately tried to call the location for 2 days and was not able to reach them. They would not answer their phone! On my next route near them, I stopped by to inform them of my service issue and asked them to please replace my food. The manager, who is named Jenny, informed me that they would not replace the food without the return of the purchased product that my complaint was about! I informed her that I had made several attempts to contact them without success and informed her that the meal was purchased as lunch on my route for me and my driver. I informed her we ate the only thing suitable which it was also cold. I informed her of the unsuccessful attempts to reach them, informing her that I could show her 2 days of unanswered calls to their location. She wasn't interested, I asked her how she was able to justify using an excuse that a person who purchased their lunch consumed part of it and did not replace it when the issue was food quality was bad and unable to immediately contact them? She informed me that it is their policy, and she stood by it! I will not return to this establishment again!! Horrible food, service, and...
