I went to McDonald’s last night the nice young lady was kind enough to ASK me to speak up because their headsets weren’t working properly. I decided to get McDonald’s this morning and when I got to the speaker the employee didn’t greet me she proceeded to ask for my order. I placed my order 3 times but she couldn’t hear me. When I hello she said I NEED to speak up so I said loudly I shouldn’t have to scream to place my order and that they needed to get new headsets like the previous employee stated. She proceeds to tell me I’m rude as if she greeted me with chick fil a customer service and tells me it’s a loud truck behind me. That was a van which I took a picture of to prove. I get to the window she’s taking her time to take my payment. She then opens the window to talk trash which I gave it right to her elderly or not. So we’re going back and forth at the window which was childish on both parts however you will not tell me what to do but you can ask nicely. So the elderly lady had the AUDACITY to call me ugly 😂🤣🤣😂😂😂 it’s pretty clear she never took a look in the mirror to take a glance at her face. So I told her she’s TOOOOO OLD TO BE WORKING AT MCDONALDS ANYWAY. Which wasn’t nice of me but she deserved it for her rudeness. I didn’t eat the food because I didn’t trust it with her loud mouth screaming inside of McDonald’s like a woman scorned all because I ruffled her feathers by not speaking with the tone of volume she required. 😂🤣🤣 I eat at this McDonald’s on a regular but now I’ll will take my money else where. The night shift is AMAZING! They greet you properly and the night manager (a guy) is super nice and friendly. He always makes sure we have our condiments before we even pull off without having to ask. Great job...
Read moreUnfortunately, the quality of fast food in South Georgia seems to be consistently disappointing. My recent experience at this particular fast food restaurant was no exception. I ordered a large quarter pounder with cheese meal for lunch. When I arrived at the window to collect my order, the young woman serving me was busy chatting and laughing with a coworker, which didn't bode well for the customer service I was about to receive.
After a brief wait, the server asked me what drink I wanted, and I requested a large Coke. She initially filled a medium cup and only corrected it to a large when I pointed out the mistake. While filling the cup, she continued her conversation with her coworker, not even acknowledging me as a customer.
When I received my meal and left, I was disappointed to find that the fries were old and had been placed in a large container that was not filled to capacity. It felt like I was given the leftovers from the bottom of the barrel. Additionally, the Coke was either diet or completely flat, and the burger was cold and the bread stale, as if it had been sitting in a refrigerator for some time. I was surprised that one meal could have so many issues.
While I had initially considered returning the meal and asking for a refund, I ultimately decided against it. Unfortunately, it seems that many fast food restaurants in South Georgia lack care and attention to detail when it comes to both food quality and customer service. However, there are some exceptions, such as Zaxby's and Chick-fil-A, which consistently provide better experiences for...
Read moreWent through drive through to order a coke- as McDonald’s has my favorite coke. Unfortunately they had someone doing drive through who did not care about the customer at all. At least that was my experience- I pulled up to drive through and I could hear everything the worker was saying- she was talking to her coworkers loudly about stuff that was not work related- she then starts laughing- and i thought maybe she didn’t see me pull up or hear it beep- I use to manage fast food so I know how it works. I kindly said mam- to let her know I was hear thinking maybe she was ready to take my order- for her to say - to who ever she was talking to in drive through with her mic on- hold on I got this lady yelling in my ear - I have the video and was recording the whole time - hoping this could be a learning lesson for the employee. At this point she b ever took my order and proceeded to take someone else order who pulled up just then. And cut the mic off my side. I have it all on video to show the manager- I kindly ask the manager when pulling up to the window- tell the manager what happened and showed her the video- not one apology on the behalf of McDonald’s - or even comment. She just okay- so I just drove off. And figured the only way to let McDonald’s regional team know is through a review. This is definitely not me being mean but this is my local McDonald that I would like to be able to get a coke in peace. I hope McDonald’s offers better training for the employees...
