Whoa, where to start?! Went to Pablo’s this afternoon. Price for 3 tacos is $15 - a little high, but ok. My wife and son sat down, I went up and ordered for us. While I was ordering and the server was making our drinks, 2 people came in from the outdoor seating with their meals that had been made incorrectly. One of which was a kid with a dairy allergy, the burrito wrapper clearly stated in sharpie “NO CHEESE”, and it was loaded with cheese. Not a great sign.
We ordered a cheese quesadilla and two orders of beef tacos. Quesadilla seemed ok but not so sure about the sour cream - had a weird taste to it. My son only ate maybe 20% of it. The beef tacos had ZERO flavor. Not even a pinch of salt let alone any other seasoning, and they were dry. We used the salsa and hot sauce to make them edible. There was a dead bug in the silverware bucket, staff were vaping/using their cell phones, etc. My wife’s margarita was the only thing that was good. So unless you’re just popping in for a drink, avoid Pablo’s, it’s a total...
Read moreSpent the day in Lake George- live about 45 mins away, my boyfriend and I were in the mood for Mexican food, this place had live music playing outside with some people sitting at tables and it seemed inviting, went inside and there was only a few other people in there. My boyfriend and I were in there for literally 10-15 minutes and not one employee acknowledged us but were instead chatting with the people sitting at the bar/getting alcohol for the people who were sitting outside and coming inside to get some, it was weird and we definitely got the vibe that it was one of those places that only welcome locals and could care less about any other customers. We left.
**In response to the owner- we were there sometime in the afternoon on May 5th (Cinco de Mayo), there was a man playing the guitar with a microphone in the corner of the patio area, I took down the name of this place in my phone so I could come back and write a review when I got around to it. Yes, we did have this experience at your...
Read moreA very bad experience. Where to start? is the question that kept me busy for a long time. We arrived and in spite of being practically empty (except for three customers) nobody noticed our presence. I asked the girl for two beers which were finally brought to the table by the only customer sitting at the bar, after being open for about 6 min. I ordered some steak tacos (very good steak) with an order of guacamole. The guacamole served in a very small plastic container was sour, totally spoiled, which I told the girl and she replied contemptuously: .... ahhh if it was the last one left, to which I replied: but it is expired and she told me: if you want I won't put it on the bill. The beers I ordered, one of them was expired, the girl told me again in a very arrogant way: I didn't realize. In short, a terrible experience, I would never recommend this restaurant and I am not exaggerating. It is really a pity that such a beautiful town has this kind of...
