If you want a nice relaxing lunch on the lake, this is NOT the place to go…. Upon arrival we were greeted by 2 snarling chihuahuas, a howling black lab, and a somewhat decent hostess. We were seated quickly, and started to check out the menu. Our order was taken and our food arrived. Not 15 seconds into my meal, a (clearly) over served man who was INCREDIBLY intoxicated began using racial slurs, and foul language for the whole establishment to hear. Me not wanting to cause a scene simply moved my child closer to my side of the table so he wasn’t as close to this man. Another 25 seconds go past and as I’m eating I am now somehow sitting with this man and he is asking what my 7 month old son is eating and why I didn’t order him seafood too. At first I thought he was kidding, but it became more obvious this man was dead serious. I’m not sure if he’s ever raised children before (god I hope not) but as you may know, seafood is NOT a suitable food for an infant LOL. I stated that I was going to eat now, and he should enjoy his day and I went back to ignoring him. I ordered the seafood scampi, and it was Probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life. About 3 inches deep with watery lemon juice, undercooked pasta, and unopened mussels. I picked at a few bites, and went back to the appetizer. Well, 8:22 Monday morning here I am writing this review fastened to the toilet with a 5 point racing harness. Do yourself a favor and run the opposite direction. Ps this was Mother’s Day at that.

Terrible lunch experience which put a damper on our perfectly beautiful day. Our party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) came in for a late lunch at almost 2pm and were seated right away. The place wasn't that full but it seemed they were very busy and it took a while to get us water and menus. We wasted no time placing our orders. It was almost half an hour before the appetizers came out. The wings were delicious and we were all impressed and anxiously waiting for our entrees. It was at least another hour before the food came out which was ridiculous. The server did not warn us that food would take that long. She said it would be out soon a few times which was misleading. We were hungry. The kids were hungry and getting impatient. Most of the time we took turns walking them outside to look at the lake. When the food finally arrived, we had to cancel a couple of orders because some of us couldn't stay. The rest of the food was underwhelming. Fries were extremely overcooked and hard. And they were not even hot just like all the other dishes. Overall really disappointing. We wasted over 2 hours here dealing with a bunch of hangry kids. Time we could've spent for them to actually play outside. For below average food! The wings were the only reason this place got a star. I would not return and would...

We stopped in because the menu online with drinks and food looked fantastic! I think their online menu is not updated because they don't have Pina Coladas or Daiquiris anymore. They also were out of Mint for Mojitos. We were there for a bachelorette weekend so cocktails were pretty important to us, but they had some other tasty options like a Fall Shandy, Leaf Peeper Margarita (Cabernet floater), among others. We chose to start with the pretzels and those were fantastic. We got a variety of food - salad, bowls, scampi, burgers. All were very tasty and filling. The chicken was forgotten on the small Caesar Salad, but we were fine with that because it was $8 extra. It was left on our bill but the waitress quickly apologized and removed it.

I was tempted to give 3 stars, due to the slow service, missing menu items and value for the price, however, I think it deserves the benefit of the doubt and 4 stars. The place was PACKED and the waitress was probably just doing her best handling all her tables and the chicken miss was fine. The food was delicious, but probably slightly overpriced. The view from the inside was amazing. It just wasn't quite the only dinner of our weekend we really wanted and the Brides choice in drinks were the ones not available. Just disappointing and I wish we knew...
