I’m a Diamond Wyndham member. I visited last month and it was one of my worst stays anywhere, ever!! If my reservation wasn’t already paid for, for the week, I would’ve left right after I arrived. I was completely disappointed and dissatisfied the entire time I was there! Been visiting this property 10+ years. The owner and his staff have definitely improved on the place recently, BUT the PIGEON INFESTATION in the eaves of the roof of the 2-story motel building IS FILTHY and DISGUSTING! This property, at this time, does NOT deserve the distinction of being part of the Wyndham Corporation! See video and pics! The condition has worsened since I stayed in May 2023 and reported it to the staff then. I will not be going back unless I find out that the pigeon issue has been resolved and the roof is fixed!! On a good note… The rooms are nice with a microwave & refrigerator. The beds are comfortable. The pool has lounge chairs with cushions and is cleaned daily. Cons… Breakfast now includes only coffee & maybe a granola bar. No coffeemaker in room. Since Memorial Day 2022, the TV and internet have been hit or miss! I stayed in May 2023 and again last month (Oct 23) and had problems with no signal, unable to see certain channels when rain came through the area 3 out of 5 nights and 1 morning, cable was out. See pics. I usually stay upstairs on the 2nd floor across from the pool, with chairs & a table outside my room. Cannabis friendly. There are NO elevators to the 2nd floor. The location of this property is the biggest asset! You are right downtown and can walk to stores, restaurants, beaches and boats! Mohammad, Please clear up the pigeon issue and secure the roof, while you are closed during off-season!! 🙏 I’m sorry for the bad review but these issues need immediate attention!

Okay, this is a split decision. If it's location you desire, this place gets a 10. The hotel is centered in the Lake George Village, which allows you walk to everything in the village area. Convenient! However, if you desire a slightly more modern, well-appointed, and quiet location, this place gets at most a 3. The rooms are small and somewhat dated albeit the property tried to dress them up with some paint and dime store appointments. An /A/ for effort, but a /C/ for results. I will say the shower was great; hot and strong pressure. Still, there was a funky try-to-hide the cigarette smoke kind of smell in the room. There were no extra linens, towels, or pillows. Not even hooks in bathroom for towels or clothing. Bare bones. Well you do get thin walls for your motorcycle, street-racer, and drunk patron loudly talking at 1am listening pleasure => No upcharge for those! Also, the outside path lights shone through my room's window, making it look like dusk, not night! Hard to fall asleep if you need a dark environment. General upkeep and attention to detail are lacking. Hinestly, the room was a bit dirty. Phone is a relic. TV had electrical tape holding framing up to wall. Place needs at least a good scrubbing, if not a complete reimagining. Not worth the price. I'll go somewhere else next time.

Great value for the location and price. They seemed to have recently renovated or made modern additions to the rooms, it had all the basics. TV worked well, but only the most basic channel, there was Wifi but it didn't work on the TV for some reason. The AC in one room was really loud making it a bit difficult to sleep, but the bed was comfy. Front desk attendant was pleasant and helpful. It's a good place for a short stay or something more budget friendly.

I just needed a room in the area to avoid the traffic. I live in the area. Honestly, I didn't expect extravagance by any means, the room was very tiny but I wasn't hanging around in it all day so I didn't mind. A couple things that weren't the greatest, 1. There was someone's old sock under the bed... eh. 2. I found a couple of the Japanese Beatles on my bed, later that night while trying to go to bed I saw 9 little black flying moth bugs on my ceiling which was making me anxious but I didn't have the energy to try and get them. 3. They did not offer lotion with their toiletries. It's LG, the sun is hot... I had some sunburn and was a bit dry and uncomfortable. All hotels I've stayed at have had small bottles of lotion so I didn't bring mine... minor inconvenience. 4. The safety latch was broken off my door, and there was a note on the door saying to secure your safety latch for your protection.... it was just ironic. 5. The pillows were tiny like throw pillows and there was only 2. Finally 6. I remember reading something about breakfast and got excited but there isn't any... just random coffee & some granola bars sitting in the main office. Not breakfast... but at least it's something. This being said a few good things about the room were the refrigerator, microwave, and the air conditioner was great. The bed was comfortable despite the lack of pillows, and despite it being noisy outside, the air conditioner blocked all the noise out from the cars and such. The check in and check out was smooth and the people were friendly. Honestly it's just a bit outdated but for a quick 1 or 2 night stay while hanging out in LG it works because the location is great and everything is within...

I too went for the nostalgia and wish I had just gone elsewhere and I should have when I saw the place was basically empty on a Sunday at 9am. First of all there's like 5 things on the breakfast menu. Would you all believe that 2 eggs, bacon, toast and home fries is $10??? That WITH pancakes is about $7 at Denny's. It all arrived in a big pile on a salad sized plate. My scrambled eggs were more like diced eggs. I don't know of any cook ever who couldn't cook scrambled eggs. I don't even know what the heck he did to them to have them end up a pile of tiny bits of egg. They were actually kind of hard to eat! The bacon and toast were good but the home fries were not fully cooked. The coffee was also good and a bargain at $.75. The service was pretty good, the server was friendly but topped off my coffee before I had even taken two sips of it and then failed to come back again until I finally had to flag her down. Another server "visited me" three times and rambled on to me about a car she liked in the parking lot and the many cars she's owned blah blah blah. It was almost like she didn't know why I was there or did not see the pile of diced eggs I was working on...or the newspaper I was trying to read! I sat at the counter and it kind of smelled like mildew. They must have poor ventilation because it's nearly 6 hours later and my clothes smell like I am still there. I am glad I went though, if for no other reason than to know I should never go back and to be able to tell you all that you should never, ever go there. I cannot believe I spent nearly $15 with tax and tip for breakfast that was barely enjoyable. If you're just going to phone it in, why bother resurrecting the...
