The Deuce Moose Cafe and Bar — Restaurant in Town of Lake George

We went with a large group (10 adults and 12 kids under 7yrs) on a Saturday afternoon after mini golf next door. They had a band outside with most people sitting up around the the bar/band area, we had most of the large, shaded picnic area to ourselves. They were very kid friendly (the band played a couple of kids songs) and the food was great. Don't sleep on the sweet potato tater tots they were fantastic, as was the artichoke wrap. For a no frills place where you order at the bar and food is brought out to you we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service was. Since the area by the picnic table was fenced in the kids could run around and play, all the while directly across from the lake watching the steam boats come in. We played mini golf, came here for food and drinks after, and then had ice cream from the place right next door. There is a great natural playground directly behind at Robert Woods park. We had a good time. The dog had a blast. Deuce Moose across the street from the boats welcomed us to eat with him. They gave him a Frosty Paws and filled a dog bowl with water and brought it over for him. The kids could smoke and the food was well priced and good. We got pulled pork nachos, buffalo chicken bites for appetizers. Shrimp and fries, a buffalo wrap and fries and I got a cheeseburger. 3 sodas. Bill came to $41.

Absolutely in love with your establishment!! I am a dog owner and wish there were more places like yours. My dogs were welcomed with an “Awwwww” from all the workers, then given a large bowl of ice water, treats, toys to play with and take home, and ice cream! From the non-dog owner standpoint, this place is right across from the water and has a great menu of all the basic necessities (including alcohol!) Nice outside spot.
