My boyfriend took me here and we ended up "playing" the virtual roller coaster rides (the machine has 3 different rides). Each rider (it's a 2 seater) wears a provided headset that is hanging from above the seats. You must manually adjust the headset to fit snuggly over your eyes with Velcro straps. Also provided are disposable liners to put on over/around your eyes, where the headset rests on your face. But it was not very user friendly and there was no one to walk you through it, without grabbing someone that works there or another patron 😅 My boyfriend had what seemed to be lag, where my ride continued and his went black and resumed after my ride was complete. It might be easier for someone that has used virtual equipment and games already, but for us, it was a total first. Still, overall it was a pleasure. The seat vibrated a bit and made it more realistic. I even felt like I was actually on the ride a few times, it was...
Read moreBeen here many times in my trips to lake George. The plus is they added many newer machines, which was a welcome sight. Variety as well was decent. However, my issue was not directly related to the video games. Although a few were broken. What gets me, is places still don't have a basic bathroom. The idea is to keep people in your place, not force them to leave. Once they leave, so does their money. Anyway, one night a bit later I just needed to take a leak. I was advised to go across the street, everyone was closed including public bathroom. I had to go so badly it was not funny. Don't tell me you have no bathroom, I would believe you don't have a "public". Anyway, places of entertainment that can hold you for hours should have a basic bathroom. Does not seem like a big deal, but something in the way I was told rubbed me the wrong way. Anyway, i rate the place average for selection and availability of...
Read moreLove coming here always a staple of our Lake George visit. I personally don't care for the newer look. I find it very dark and drab in there, but I also grew up with it looking the old way. The new playing card system was a pretty good idea. The only thing I really wish is that they would work on getting better prizes. Honestly the prizes weren't very good this year. I think offering to cash in points for gift certificates to local businesses might be one good idea. Like maybe certificates to Martha's, a game at one of the mini golf places, etc. I still have the toaster I won here...
