Seeing great reviews, we wanted to try this restaurant with view and our usual favorites like tacos and sandwiches in the menu - family of 4. We ordered Calamari for appetizers- which was just ok. Tasted not fresh. We ordered hibiscus mocktail with less ice- but it came with lots of ice despite the server specifically asked the bar for less ice, it seems. So we ordered watermelon mocktail additionally- with less ice and it came with no ice at all… we didn’t want to complain and let it slide. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and 2 chicken tacos for entrees - it really took long time and when we got the tacos - we noticed it was only little chicken and salsa- no avocado or any sauce/flavor as mentioned in the menu. When we asked our server , she said they were totally out of avocados(that was only told to us after we asked) and gave us prepacked condiment pack-sour cream after we asked again. Also the chicken sandwiches were totally burnt and dry- haven’t ever seen such a rock hard chicken - when we told the server , she took the sandwiches away and manager came in and apologized and asked us to order something else… so when we asked flatbread and wings, we were told that they were out of wings too… then we opted for tacos again as we couldn’t order anything else. The tacos and flatbread were just ok- no flavor or taste. The side order Brussels sprouts was so burnt- we requested to remove from table due to the burnt smell. Very below average food, than all the places we ate so far… We were charged 18% tip based on the whole order without reducing the sandwiches price… unbelievable. Instead of billing 18% tip for $119 subtotal, it was calculated as $29.76 plus tax?? The server and the manager tried their level best in providing best service despite all the food mishaps which we appreciate but the food and the kitchen staff and the billing were really bad. For $157, never ever had problem with every single item in a restaurant, like this before-...
Read moreWe had a reservation this passed week 8/12/25 while we were there celebrating our wedding from the weekend before. We had a group of 23 people, we split the tables into kids and adults. At the kids table, my 17 y/o son ordered the pork chop. My wife and I also had the pork chop. After our dinner, we sat around a bit and paid our bill. Within that time, my son who ordered the pork chop went to the bathroom. He came back with the manager and he had let me know that my son had thrown up in a staircase (he couldn’t find the bathroom). I was confused bc he had been perfectly fine all day. Come to find out, from another parent who was with us, his pork chop wasn’t cooked all the way through. She said it looked raw in the middle (I realize she should’ve said something to me, but she didn’t think to). When I asked the manager about this, he didn’t seem surprised. He actually proceeded to tell me that they receive their food precooked (a food industry standard, in his words) and all they do is seer it and grill it and serve it. So i asked him if they check to the temperature or doneness of the meat, he said no. He went as far as to tell me that my son couldn’t throw up from the food he ate in the timeframe of finishing his meal and us paying the bill, which is completely false and defensive. As we were walking out and I had a few minutes to reflect on the managers nonchalant attitude, I told him we will not be coming back. With a straight face, he said “ok, no problem” “you’ve made up your mind, that’s fine” And we dine there every time we visit lake George, 2-3 times a year, so that’s a shame. I’m also not the type to ask or demand money back nor did he offer. Which is a little surprising since our bill was $1300. If he seemed even the slightest bit apologetic or offered to take care of it somehow, I’d have a different feeling, but he didn’t. And also, my son was fine after he threw up his dinner, just like he was before he ate there. So it was...
Read moreThe resturant location is primo but the service and food are absolutely terrible. The meal started with the table next to us holding a screaming toddler, clearly sick- coughing and throwing up on the floor of the upper deck, which was left uncleaned after they got up, so the appetite was slim after that to begin with. It took a long time for the order to come out. There were four of us and one of us didn't even receive the order with the rest after waiting so long. We waited a few more minutes to see if it was just taking a second for the fourth order to come out but it wasn't and the rest of us were basically finished- it's not like you can wait to eat sitting outside. We had to chase down someone to let them know of the missing order because no one was around to help and then waited an additional 20 minutes for it because they forgot to cook it all together. All of the things we requested in the order for sides were missing- like butter for the lobster and such. We got the ribs, chicken and surf and turf. The meat we received was rubbery, undercooked with cartilage and veins still inside. We left hungry. We had to keep getting up to request other things from multiple bussers, waiters and hostesses, one of which, my mother went into the bathroom to find "hiding" and telling other resturant goers that they were just hiding and to continue to use the bathroom. I didn't even eat more than half of the meal- it was basically raw. Same for the rest of us. They had nice live music which was a perk, but all of us agreed it was the worst experience we've ever had at a resturant and the waitress stood over my father as he paid the bill just to make sure she still got tip because she knew we had a terrible experience and spilt butter all over my brother and fathers shirts and...
