The Village Blacksmith — Restaurant in Town of Lake George

My daughter and I went to dinner here, it was a short walk across the street from our hotel. In all the years I've gone to Lake George, I never even knew it existed. What a nice surprise. We both LOVED our dinner and appetizers! We had the fried onion petals (best I've ever had!) and mozzarella sticks - they were "small plates" and were only $5 each. We each had a cocktail, also only $5 each! For dinner we had the sliced tenderloin of beef which came with red bliss mashed potatoes and French green beans. My daughter couldn't stop raving about it! Everything was absolutely delicious and our server was very attentive. Definitely going back next time we're in...

Great first experience for a meal! Had breakfast and the food was good! Most of the staff serving were wearing gloves which during Covid is important to us, really appreciated that. They were under renovation so they did a buffet style for eating. Only thing I wish for that was they they either had sanitizer or food gloves Available to use for customers at the buffet. Would definitely go back for more food their next...

Went there over Christmas...staff,manager and bartender all great. Had chili and pulled pork sandwich. If you want comfort...
