I DO NOT recommend this tasting room. I really wanted to like it here because we love going to breweries and trying different things. I went with my sister and my mother this past weekend and it was very busy. There were two older gentleman working and we understood that it would take some time which we were okay with. at one point one of the gentleman asked if we'd been waited on yet and I said no, but that I understood they were busy. However, after we were asked this (we were standing directly in front of the one man) him and the other gentleman proceeded to wait on 3 other groups of people that came in after my sister and I. I was so pissed off/disappointed that we decided to just leave. it's too bad because I would've loved to spend my money there, but felt very much like the whole experience was completely...

Anna, the bartender was amazing! I had a mule flight, which included a 3 delicious mules; a refreshing summer mule with thyme, the "Cranberry Mule" and the "Shipwreck Mule," the Cranberry was my favorite, but I recommend trying them all! My husband had a beer flight, which who doesn't enjoy a flight of beer! Our visit was so enjoyable, that we returned the next night. I enjoyed a wine flight while my husband enjoyed his "Hiker's Flask."

The brewery is Wood Boat Brewery, Clayton, NY. From the 3 flights of whiskey, the Rue Knot whiskey was spectacular. The SLS Captains Flask Bourbon was also pretty great. Extra points for a specialty summer cocktail Trees Knees - a spin off bees knees but with maple syrup and the SLS Penet Square Gin.
Overall, lots of interesting and unique options to explore for those with refined taste and passion for local flavors.
