   Read moreI’m a huge history and stadium nerd and I’ve always wanted to see this arena ever since I first heard of the Miracle on Ice, and finally got that chance in December 2018. Kinda funny to see the striking modern exterior and then see the basic interior right down to the high school gym-style bleachers in the balcony. A product of an Olympics built on a budget, the way they should be compared to nowadays. The fact that this little village of 3,000 people hosted the Olympics twice still boggles my mind.    Read moreHave watched the movie Miracle many times with the kids so we decided to stop and see where the 1980 Miracle On Ice took place. They have the original score board from 1980 on display inside the arena. It was very cool to be able to walk around and see where this great event in US Sports history took place. There is a tour that you have to pay for to get a more “behind the scenes” look. The view outside the arena is awesome as you can see many of the sites where the other Olympic sports took place.
