Saddly, our visit to this restaurant was not a great one. The staff was friendly, but they obviously did not care to be there. We asked to sit outside and were told to take any table, so we did. 5 minutes later, we finally had someone bring menus to us. 5 minutes after that, we had someone come to ask what we wanted to drink. This was our 3rd staff member. 15 in into our experience we finally got drinks, chips and salsa. The one plus was after we ordered food it came fast which you would expect from a Mexican food restaurant. The food saddly did not make up for the staff experience. The chips were warm and good, salsa was tomato water saddly, and the bean dip lacked in seasoning. The kids had Mexican pizzas, which were basically a tortilla with way too much cheese. The street tacos were ordered with 3 different meet options, with the chicken being dry, the pork while having flavor, was faty, and the stake was pure grissal and untenable. The beans were the same blan ones as the dip, and the rice was also lacking flavor. This is not a place we will return to in our travels to Twin Falls.

Amazing service! Edith had great suggestions and went above and beyond! The food was super- yummy and tasted homemade. The carne asada was smoky and delicious, and the beans were authentic and delicious, and the the enchilada was amazing. This is the real deal, and an unexpected gem in the middle of Idaho! I had the Cadillac Margarita which did not disappoint (although technically not authentic since they obviously used the typical neon-green sweet and sour, but the grand Mariner to tequila ratio was on point)! I wish this place were in Boise since I currently reside there, but it’s definitely worth the trek for a wonderful experience! Edith really did put the experience over the top for us- she was very helpful with my gluten sensitivity, and she was very honest with her suggestions. I’ve lived in 9 different states, lived in 2 different countries, and visited far more, and I’ve experienced a LOT of different Mexican restaurants, but La Fiesta in Twin Falls really is a little jewel worth visiting!

I want to start by saying the staff is very nice and accommodating. They modified the veggies fajitas for me because I'm vegan (not very hard to do but still). Now that that's out of the way let's get into the food. The presentation of the food was very unappetizing. And this is coming from a person on the road who basically hasn't eaten all day. The food was also blant and my tortillas were kind of stale. I got a very small amount of guacamole (very small) and the beans might as well have come straight out of a can. Other than that the place is beautifully decorated and I enjoyed the vibes. My lover man gave the macho burrito a strong 5.5/10 he said he would love it if he was drunk but it's not the best Mexican he's had.

Maybe it's because I grew up in Southern California, and was around some of the best Mexican food you could get outside of Mexico; this place just totally missed the mark.

My mom and I went in for lunch and the place was very clean and the staff was friendly but the food was just not good at all. This is what I would call a very "white-washed" Mexican food restaurant. The refried beans were very thin which is unusual for refried beans. They should be nice and thick, like wallpaper paste. That's how you know they're good. The chips and salsa, if you want to call it "salsa", was sad. The salsa was extremely watery with zero substance. No chunky tomatoes, nothing. My mom described it as a watered down enchilada sauce. It just wasn't anything like salsa. Barely any effort was put in to making that salsa.

My mom ordered a taco and enchilada combo and I ordered the flautas. Our food came out in about 5 mins after ordering which gives it away that the majority of this stuff is premade, not cooked fresh. My mom's taco had a taco shell that you could easily buy in a grocery store, not the authentic freshly fried corn tortilla that it should've been. It also completely fell apart in 2 secs. Her enchilada was also just a mushy tortilla covered in melted cheese and hidden under thin watery refried beans.

My flautas were just okay, a little burnt, but I've definitely had much better flautas from other places. All in all the food was not very good and not a place I would ever eat at again. Garibaldi's has much more authentic style Mexican food in Twin Falls if that's what you're looking for.

2 stars because the staff...

Can I rate more than five stars?

Staying in Twin Falls for one night on our way home to Seattle. We have stayed here twice before and know to NOT try any Asian here again. Hubby was starving when we arrived and just wanted to fuel! Decided on La Fiesta. Why? It was an easy route from our hotel. Seriously. But wow. Just WOW.

First of all, if you arrive on a Saturday evening DO NOT be in a hurry. This place is a victim of their own popularity. It was packed, so were surprised when we were seated after only a few minutes wait. It did take a while to get drinks and place our order, but hey, if I have an EXCELLENT scratch margarita and chips, I can wait 20-25 minutes for my entree. And so worth the wait!! Hubby enjoyed the deep flavor of his pork carnitas and I swooned over the best borrega served with its own birria sauce. They serve it with a steak knife which is a joke because the meat is so tender it literally falls off the bone and melts in your mouth.

Service was great. Although, yes, it took a while to to receive our food, several individuals stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. The manager checked in on us, too, and even made time for a brief chat.

We will absolutely stop here for a meal the next time we drive thru. And make sure our friends know about this...

Well, where should I start… We arrived about 8:30 pm on a Saturday We were seated right away, and there we sat and sat and sat… finally my husband went to the dirty men’s bathroom. The waiter showed up to get a drink order as husband was returning to table. I went to the dirty ladies room and drinks arrived, still no chips and salsa and waiter asked for our order. I asked about chips, he took order and left. The overworked Caucasian lady saw we had been sitting for awhile and she brought over some chips and incredibly watery salsa and apologized for nobody serving us. That was when we decided to not spend our hard earned money on lousy service and potentially lousy food. I don’t know where the manager or owner was but the only one that I could see working was the lady who brought us chips after she had been bussing a table. We left a $10 on the table for the beer my husband did not drink and we told the waiter to cancel our order, he didn’t seem surprised. No one cared, we were from out of town so we’ll never go back, I would have given no stars if I could have, I don’t know what the food was like but the service we received was terrible. Owner needs to fire everyone but the overworked Caucasian lady and she could get a better job where she would be...
