Grill Kabob — Restaurant in Virginia

I decided to get a quick dinner before a movie, and made the mistake of choosing Grill Kabob. Service started out poor when the cashier was having a very nice conversation with the couple in front of me, with absolutely no regard for the line behind. Once I finally ordered my gyro I stepped off to the side to wait for my order. Orders were coming out 1 every few minutes and the customers around me were all growing impatient. I had counted on having 20 minutes before my movie would be plenty of time to get my food and eat, but was I wrong. It took 20 minutes to just get my food, and when I told them I had a movie and just wanted a refund, they kept arguing with me that it was "about to come out." They didn't even bother to turn the machine on until they had completed the order in front of mine. Finally 5 minutes later (25 minutes after ordering) my gyro came. And there was my second mistake of the night, trying to eat this "food" that came out. The meat was dry and cool. Completely inedible. The side dish portions are generous, plus I received a bonus cup of chickpeas with my salad. 👍 It also came with a generously sized, fresh piece of naan! The young men working there were polite, professional, kind, prompt, and courteous. They packaged my food carefully and included utensils and napkins in the bag. I love that they didn’t drench the salad with dressing, it had just the right drizzle. Also, the chicken kabob salad came with six big, juicy pieces of chicken kabob, it is a filling meal. A really great kabob place located conveniently in Tysons Corner Center Mall in the third floor food court, with healthy options if you’re trying to eat light. If only I could rate this place 0 stars because of the bad customer service. The 2 workers making the food did not have gloves on while preparing the food. My friend and I went this weekend in hopes of getting a good kabob for lunch but the server lady mentioned in previous reviews was really rude. My friend asked if they had gloves to wear because they weren't wearing any and they were touching the cash and food at the same time without washing their hands. They got upset and put gloves on, then my friend asked to change the bread for rice since they were making the bread without wearing gloves. The lady refused so my friend asked to cancel the order and the lady refused again saying that we had to take the food. We didn't want it because the workers weren't following protocol, so the manager came out and canceled our orders and gave us the money back.
