Crepeaway — Restaurant in Washington

The employee behind the counter was very rude, not sure if he was the owner or not. Today 12/11/2020 around 4:30pm I walked in, picked up a menu & sat down to decide what I wanted. When he was done with the order he was making & those customers left I walked to the counter & began placing my order. I wanted a #3 combo a sweet & savory crepe with a soda. As I was talking to him & adding what I wanted to my crepes another customer walks up, interrupts me and starts talking to him in Spanish, ignoring me as if I'm not standing there already talking to him. The employee begins to have a conversation with him in Spanish & leaves from behind the counter to talk with him by the door. When I interrupted them & said "Excuse me. You don't see me standing here talking to him? You're just going to ignore me & talk to him as if I'm not placing an order & about to be a paying customer?" The customer waves his hand at me & gives a horrible version of I'm sorry. The employee comes back behind the the counter & apologizes, but I'm already ticked off at this point. I said "F*ck that I'm not giving you my money for rude service" and I left. My order was only $15 maybe $17 after tax, the amount is irrelevant. If you need to interrupt someone, especially a paying customer you say "Excuse me, please give me a minute." I took my $15 and went a couple block over to Baja Fresh when my...

We've been coming to this wonderful place for over a decade now and it still hits the spot! My friends told me about this place years ago and we've been coming all the way from Gaithersburg/Germantown ever since. I love the fresh ingredients and great service we receive when we come here. They changed out the tables since people back in the day used to dance on top of them (young adults who had much to drink) lol they also have a sign now about the dancing being prohibited. The other thing we love is the hours here. They used to stay open until like 4AM on Fridays/Saturdays. I also check every bathroom because if it's not clean neither are other things and they passed with flying colors plus with the long drive it's nice to know it's actual useable and not gross. That is always a turn off at an establishment that has people who serve food and you have to question things like glove use and did the person fixing you food wash their hands and such. Overall, 5/5 SupaFlyITGuy approved! NOTE: parking is still atrocious here but that's DC for you. Keep that in mind as you will spend time trying to find a parking space if you are not utilizing one of the garages nearby. This place definitely has some great employees and some that make you feel bad about ordering food here. I've done quite a few orders here, and mostly, I've had no issues, but the last 2 times have been frustrating. Ordered 3.3.25 for pick up, and when I went to pick up the food, it wasn't ready because of a printer issue. No worries, technology happens, and we can't do anything.. waited, and the wonderful lady at the counter prepared my order. Then today, 3.7.25 - I ordered a pick up, and it showed ready by 7. I went to pick up my order, and the cashier goes - "You just called to change your order to pick up at 7.15". When I told him I hadn't called, he asked if I was sure multiple times. I don't even care if he got confused about my order and someone else's order, but saying I was not telling him the truth about if I had called after me saying no multiple times, it was just not right to me. I just left without my order. Crepeaway is a great place. The food is great, but it's just getting let down by some of the employees.
