I've been to plenty of Starbucks in various cities across different countries but this one takes the cake. This is the worst customer service I have received at a coffee shop - period. I went in to get a happy hour special and was greeted by an unfriendly barista stating that the special was tomorrow. I showed her my phone with the Starbucks App info/date and she still insisted it was tomorrow until her manager, standing next to her, corrected the situation. Apparently the barista crew had been telling all the customers that happy hour was the day after for the past few hours. I finally placed my order and was not given a receipt (apparently the printer was broken but why not use the other unmanned register??). There were only two orders in front of me, but I waited over 20 minutes and still hadn't received my order. One barista was on his phone the entire time and then ran into the back for awhile and then came back out still on the phone. The other barista was unbelievably slow, taking intentional pauses and then walking up and down really not doing much - I really wasn't sure what to make of the situation. She then continued to make another 4 or 5 drinks for the people that ordered after me, and then switched positions with the cashier. The new barista continued making the other customers' drinks. I finally informed the barista very politely that I hadn't received my drink (as it had been 20 mins since my order and there were only 2 people in front). Before I could finish my sentence, she cuts me off and says my order is being made in a very rude manner while muttering not to rush her. After making about 4 drinks, she realizes I'm still there and asks me what my order was. So I tell her my order and then she says she's out of one of the ingredients to make my drink. A full 30 mins had gone by at this point. I was looking for the manager but he was nowhere to be found - he had disappeared right after my order was placed. I asked her to make the drink anyways - which turned out to be horrible. It was evident that none of the employees or the manager want to be working there. If you don't enjoy what you do, please change your job to something you like atleast a little. There are plenty of people that would love to have your job and would be fantastic at it. It's safe to say I won't be going to this or any other Starbucks anytime in the near future. If I ever do happen to go back to this location, I'll be sure to take a footage as Starbucks corporate needs to see what's happening to...
Read moreThis Starbucks needs a training on the Values and mission!! Other than the lady at the cash register, the SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! I worked at Starbucks for 7 years and always mad sure my customers was first. I ordered my drink and a guy ordered a tall latte in front of me. I seen the girl was cleaning and setting up for the night shift, so I knew it was going to take a while. So walked across the street to the food truck(we know it took about 15-20 mins) MY DRINK WAS NOT READY AND THE GUY WAS STILL WAITING FOR HIS LATTE. After that whom I believe was the store manager was making my drink. A short lady with dreads. She pouted everything in the trini cup, mind you I asked for a venti in a Trinity cup for extra ice. She didn’t measure it or anything. She just poured it. I asked her could she shake it and she shook it in the cup. I wanted it shaken and made in the measuring cup! I know for a fact the taste is not the same. It’s nice cold refreshing taste when you shake it the 7-8 times almost like taking something out of a freezer. She caught an attitude! And when I said something INSTEAD OF BEING PROFESSIONAL AND GIVING ME THE DRINK IN MY HAND. She puts it down and tells the lady that was cleaning to finish handling my drink. Whom was very kind. But as a shift supervisor she is supposed to me a role model to her team. Her attitude and complaining about the night shift didn’t do anything the night before is very unprofessional! When I was in there it was only 1 person in front of me and it was slow! I worked there for a year and customers always came first! This staff is new and need a new training an an...
Read moreI’ve been patronizing this Starbucks weekly for the past few months and I’m sad to say that from today I will no longer be a customer. In the past few months I’ve been purchasing the same drink: an iced lavender matcha latte.
Today, I allotted myself enough time to leave my office, grab a drink, and head back with ample time remaining before my meeting. When I got up to the register, the person taking my order was completely distracted. She got my order wrong and I only discovered this after receiving the first wrong drink (I didn’t ask for a receipt). I notified the young woman who took my order that my drink was wrong and she spoke with another barista to make my drink which was wrong AGAIN. She then proceeds to tell me that I gave her the wrong drink order, which I did not. She explains to a barista, Don/Dom (?), that I gave her the wrong drink order and I no longer wanted it, making it seem like I’m at fault. He eventually steps in and makes a THIRD drink for me which was honestly subpar but I appreciate him trying. I received no apology for the errors/delay.
Again, as I mentioned earlier, I order this drink all the time (at various locations) so I know how I like it. It didn’t taste like how I usually get it and I was highly disappointed. Moreover, the lack of accountability was unacceptable. I had to sprint back to the office in this atrocious weather so I can make it in time...
