Zero rating for customer service! Therefore I will never go back. Which is unfortunate because I love their pistachio croissant and a few other items.
So here’s the story…
I hate to even have to write this review because I used to absolutely love this place but unfortunately today took a turn for the worse.
After spending $53.00 this morning and having great conversations about how we like our lattes and coffees, the imaginable happened.
One of my daughters wanted her iced coffee drink a little sweeter and so I the manager recommended 2 more pumps of vanilla. She expressed how she wanted my daughter to be happy with her drink as she mentioned how important that was and how she loves her sweet as well. Yes, that did the trick. Coffee was now perfect!
Then suddenly the other girl asked me if I wouldn’t mind paying and I said for what. She said for the 2 pumps of syrup. I was confused and asked the manager and she yes it’s very expensive and she held and caressed my hand. I said I literally just spent $53.00 and your going to charge me an additional amount?
I was absolutely astonished and taken back by such a request especially after I ranted and raved how we love this bakery and their customer service.
So there ya have it…$1.61 drove me away based upon principal alone. So we will no longer be coming to this bakery and they will be loosing a lot more that $1.61.
Better customer service needed. Don’t be fake and tell me you want to assure our food and drink are perfect and then insist on me paying for $1.61 to ensure that happens....
Read moreI went to Loic a few weeks ago when visiting Florida for the Tony Robbins UPW event. I live about an hour southwest of Chicago. I ordered a bacon/egg biscuit & a croissant along with a berry tea. Everything was delicious. The biscuit was perfect, not dried out and just the right amount of butter. I received a plain croissant when I ordered a chocolate one, but I’m not one to worry about something like that. I was with my boss & another coworker & we were just talking about how amazing the food was. I explained I received a regular croissant when I ordered a chocolate one & mentioned if this plain one was this tasty, I bet the chocolate one was even better. So we were wrapping up & my boss went inside for a minute & retuned with a bag. It was a chocolate croissant. I thought he had bought me one, but he said the woman behind the counter simply gave it to him because he complimented her & the restaurant, then just explained the situation with the croissant. He said without hesitation she went & grabbed a chocolate one & basically told him it was on the house for the mix up. He tried to refuse, but she insisted. I mention this whole long story of the croissant because it shows that she really cared about the customer experience. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you for the delicious meal & kindness on that day. If I ever return to West Palm Beach, you bet I’ll be back. Phenomenal food &...
Read moreOver the last 4 years, every time we have the craving for French pastries, my husband and I would drive to Loic for our breakfast after church tradition on Sundays. They have the best croissants, biscuits, and baguettes. My husband’s favorite is the pistachio white chocolate almond croissant while mine is the raspberry almond croissant. They have a variety of breakfast options from quiches to “make your own breakfast sandwich” with a choice of either a croissant, biscuit or baguette. My personal favorite is the egg and cheese in a biscuit, I could eat it everyday! Everything we’ve tasted in the cafe’s been consistently delicious, even the coffee! Over the years we’ve also ordered items like the Buche de Noel and fruit tarts for the holidays and special occasions which always garner compliments during gatherings. We have brought family and friends over and always have the experience of great company enjoyed over scrumptious food! The staff is efficient, friendly, and patient towards customers like myself who are occasionally beset with the indecision of having to choose from all delectable options the cafe has to offer. Fortunately for us we live about 10 miles west, otherwise the temptation to go there everyday would be hard to resist. Instead, going there for us is always a treat and something we both look forward to. Thank you Loic for bringing a little bit of French heaven to...
