Nails & Hair AH — Local services in West Palm Beach

Beyond awful & painful..... I recently moved from Philly where I had the most amazing nail salon, the pedicures were soooooo relaxing & the manicures always included hand & arm massage and then a shoulder massage while your nails were drying.

Soooooo I don't know about anyone else but normally when I get my nails done it's a relaxing and indulgent experience @ AH Nails absolutely NOT.......

OK so this was not just one experience, the first time I went with my boyfriend we both got mani - pedi's.

The girl who did my boyfriends pedicure was awesome Elisa I think her name is, Elisa is Hispanic and my boyfriend's Spanish is better than mine but nevertheless she was kind, funny and very helpful.

My pedicure was not the same, I felt rushed and there was nothing relaxing about it.

We left feeling like "eeeeeeeeh, maybe they were having a bad day or something" So I decided to give the place one more try, I had Elisa the Hispanic woman for my pedicure, she was great, but here is where I started to get absolutely DISGUSTED, In the middle of my pedicure the owner "Stephanie" came back to the pedicure area and started barking orders at Elisa, "Make sure you take out the trash, why are you taking so long?, Hurry up, you are wasting time" OMFG....... I said to Stephanie that's rude don't speak to her like that & her response "She's stupid she doesn't even speak English properly" WHAAAAAAT THE WHAAAAAAT.... In my broken Spanish we talked & Elisa said she always talks to me like that.... It gets worse....... So, low and behold it was Stephanie that was doing my manicure/fill. I asked her to match the same color as my pedicure, the color she picked was not remotely close, I said at the start "uuuuuuuum it's not the same color" her response was, "it's the closest color so don't complain" WOW, WOW, WOW...... Again my experience of getting my nails done for the last 20 years has been a "treat" relaxing and indulgent personal time. With Stephanie oooooooh no such thing, like many other people have said on their reviews, not only was it not relaxing it was PAINFUL, she yanked at my hands & arms, she was so rough & while filing my fingers were bleeding & when I said "that's hurting" she just ignored me & was talking to another staff member...... There was no moisturizing my hands, there was no hand massage, just pure pain......... I actually gave Elisa a $40.00 cash tip after she was verbally abused by Stephanie & then while I was sitting getting my nails done Elisa was leaving for the night & again Stephanie berated Elisa again calling her stupid, "You are so stupid I told you to empty all the trash cans before you leave are you too stupid to understand that? I felt sick by the way Stephanie spoke to her, actually I was beyond disgusted...... So after the worst manicure I've ever had, & again I have to stress painful & my fingers were bleeding, I gave Stephanie my card to pay & I said"Oh I already tipped Elisa in cash" and the response I got was well you should next time give one tip and we split it... I wanted to give her no tip but I said add 15% Stephanie rolled her eyes & said most people give at least 20%.

If you are looking for a nice relaxing day to get your nails done, do NOT go to AH nails, Stephanie (the owner) treats her staff and customers like S%&T........ I hope Elisa gets a new job and stops getting abused by...

I came to get my nails done and was seated with One of your employees that always looks like she’s doing you a favor to even do the service for you, her daughter came and she wanted to go to lunch so she just stopped the work on my nails and asked someone else to continue doing my nails cause she wants to “have lunch”. And she started arguing with me that I ruined the nails cause I touched my hair and now she has to go. What??? I needed to move a chair in the middle and let someone else continue it for me. Disrespectful, if you treat your clients like this don’t expect them to come back. I came in order to get manicure and also a pedicure Eventually got only a manicure cause they were so unprofessional and treated me so badly. When i told the boss the way her employee treated me she said “you need to say it to her” i need to tell her? She’s your employee not mine! It’s a shame I’ve never beenWe through this type of Discomfort. Don’t...

They advertise men’s hair cuts in their front window. I stopped by to set up an appointment and the blond woman at the desk seemed completely uninterested in helping, but took my number and said the barber would call to set up a time—after a week with no phone call, I called them and asked again if I could set up an appointment. This time I was given a time. On the said my appointment I arrived 5 minutes early and was told the barber had forgotten their sizers and had to run back home to get them. After waiting 40 minutes one of the women called the barber and said, “Your appointment is here waiting so come to the front to take him back to your area” so clearly the person was there. I waited another 20 minutes and no one talked to me or explained why I had waited for over an hour with no service! Finally, I got up and left. I would not recommend this rude, unfriendly business—they clearly do not want...
