After dropping my daughter at the west Palm beach international airport i went downtown and google maps took me to the nearest coffee shop from where I was and it happened to be Mama Bella. It was a very rainy Saturday afternoon, I was hungry and needed a restroom and a coffee. It had a cute market a nicely decorated bar and table area, there was not too many people because of the bad weather I assume. I could tell most if not all of the workers were Ukrainian which immediately gave me the feeling of a family business, with a home warmth. Everything looked delicious, there was a big variety of dishes and desserts behind the glass food display, but opted for the warm avocado melt and an americano coffee. All the workers were very attentive and kind, I got a very nice looking sandwich and oh my …. The best avocado melt I’ve had so far, it was “perfecto” , the mashed avocado was so tasty, very well seasoned , the cheese with a layer of tomato and the panini …. I enjoyed every bite ! The coffee was excellent too. Overall a wonderful experience, so good, I’m willing to come back from Port St. Lucie just so my sons...
Read moreA welcomed European style bar and market in downtown West Palm Beach! Interesting place., beautiful snd very clean! A great selection of bottled wine and interesting European pasta, crackers, sauce etc! All the deli items were packaged.. some Greek cheese that is hard to find. Nice upscale atmosphere.. great outdoor seating! I had a small glass of Pinot Grigio which was $9.00. ( I found out when paying) I couldn’t get onto their website to see menus and prices. The bar only had 4 gentleman and it was incredibly loud. I can’t imagine if the bar was full and this was in the early afternoon. I didn’t try any sandwiches or desserts. A challenge with no menus and very spotty wifi. I’m sure they are working on the presentation of their food and desserts.. It’s a bit intimidating… I will say a welcomed addition to the downtown are! Making a market, bar and deli work needs fine turning but I wouldn’t let that stop me from coming back again and again… I would definitely recommend and I’m looking forward to trying all they...
Read moreThis place is definitely a must to go to, regardless of whether you are a tourist or a local. Into drinking by a bar and getting stuffed cabbage rolls while purchasing a bottle of Rosé, all simultaneously? Then you gotta check this place out, especially if you are into saving time and convenient shopping.
There are not many International Food eateries in downtown West Palm Beach focusing predominately on Eastern European goods. The fact that it is only a few blocks away from the theaters and other hang-out spots is awesome! From fresh produce to pantry goods, this gourmet store has lots of goodies to offer!
I recommend getting the Adjika jar of chili paste, Halva (sweet sesame seed dessert), as well as "Bird's milk". Contains no bird inside lol, it's just a chocolate covered dessert with a soft,...
