The Falafel Spot — Restaurant in West Yellowstone

The food at Falafel Spot was okay—not bad, but nothing remarkable either. What really stood out was the limited menu. I found myself with barely any choices and had to go with the falafel combo just to get some rice along with the falafel. Unfortunately, the combo also included a soda, which I don’t even drink, but there was no flexibility to swap or opt out.

For what’s offered, the pricing feels a bit high. A little more variety and customizable options would really improve the experience.

I originally rated this 3 stars, but after seeing the owner's sarcastic and assumptive response, I feel compelled to revise it to 1 star.

First, asking for extra forks does not automatically mean multiple people ate from one dish. It’s unfair and unprofessional to assume how your customers are consuming their food.

Second, I had specifically asked whether the drink was included in the combo, and I was told yes. Now in your response, you're claiming it's free and optional, which contradicts what was said during the order.

Instead of acknowledging the feedback about pricing and limited customization options, the response felt defensive and passive-aggressive. As a customer, I expected respectful dialogue—not assumptions and sarcasm.

We stumbled upon this charming falafel shop after a full day of exploring Yellowstone, and what a wonderful experience it was! The owner, an incredibly kind and warm-hearted person, noticed our weary faces and generously offered us a free plate of falafel while we waited for our rice to cook. His small act of kindness truly brightened our day!

The falafel itself was absolutely delicious—top-quality, perfectly crispy, and 100% vegan. It’s evident that the shop uses only the finest ingredients, and the flavors were just exceptional. The food not only filled our stomachs but also lifted our spirits.

I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone visiting Yellowstone should make a point to stop by this falafel shop. It is rare that you get a chance to not only rate the food, but also have some thoughts about the owner. I have been eating falafels and tzatziki for years, and Isaac's meal was great. He makes his food fresh every day to delight the people who stop by, and he prepares it with confidence. Also, if you have a minute, talk to Isaac. "Live, and let live." He is accepting, kind, and curious about the people who come by. He is very busy but will chat if he has time. People generally need to talk instead of judge, and that is what he does. And his food is tremendous!...
