I dont even want to give one star for this place. I had a very similar experience with the lady behind the counter. I walked in with my mask in my hand along with several other customers. The lady behind the counter yelled very loudly toward me, and asked if I had a mask. I had one in my hand, showed it to her, and put it on. I continued into the store and she yelled even louder, "excuse me, did you use hand sanitizer, excuse me ma'am..." I turned to face her surprised that she would yell at me twice in front of others, when she yelled a third time, asking again if I had used the hand sanitizer. I told her I hadn't seen it. She pointed toward the entrance and told me it was "over there," all the while continuing to eat her sandwich and chat with the employee next to her. I walked toward the front door intending to use the hand sanitizer, but by the time I reached it I was so embarrassed and angry at how rude people have become, I decided to walk out. As I was exiting, she apparently had to jab at me one more time, and said loudly "thank you." I'll wear a mask if asked, to keep the peace, most of the time, but this kind of behavior is just hurtful. I wish there was more we could do than just leave a review. I hope people stop shopping at her store. This is not the way we should...
Read more"New owners* Great news!! The mean old lady is no longer at this store! The new owners are wonderful people and the vibe in the store is welcoming and friendly. There are many new items and product lines to browse and purchase. This is quickly becoming a rival to the best gift shop in town (the Yellowstone Trading Post inside the IMAX theater). I strongly recommend to all who visit West Yellowstone that they stop in at this shop and experience the outstanding customer service and amazing selection and variety of goods. There are many unique items that can only be found at this store. You will be glad that you found this place when you see the low prices on the treasures within. Don't forget to get yourself an ice cream cone at the booth just outside of the shop, it's a nice way to use the money you saved by shopping at the Yellowstone...
Read moreGreat selection of souvenirs, but we were totally taken for our money. We bought two PRE-BOXED fragile ornaments and one was sold to us broken. Yes, as a buyer I should have double checked the ornaments but the cashier looked them over before bagging them up and checking us out. He more than likely saw that it was broken and should have let us buy a non-broke one. The bag containing the souvenirs was not banged, dropped, bumped, etc so we definitely did not break them. A precious honeymoon souvenir ruined. Hopefully this review prompts future buyers to double or triple check their fragile souvenirs at this store as their staff cannot be truthful. We cannot prove that we did not break them so we unfortunately have no grounds to get a refund or exchange the ornament. Will definitely be buying a replacement but not...
