I tried to find a different way to get this information to you. I couldn't send a message on Facebook and the contact us on the website went to a page that stated surveys were no longer being taken.
We went into Smoothie King last night, Sunday Dec 13, around 6:45pm or so. The two girls working were in the back and came out when they realized someone was there. We made our choices and paid. We got our first drink ok, but the girl making the second drink made a drink for a 20 oz when I ordered a 32 oz drink. She did ask the other girl and they switched the cup. However, instead of making the drink correctly they served me a 32 oz cup with about 2 inches empty. I asked if she could fill the smoothie up. She got attitude, grabbed the cup, grabbed the blender and tried to put the little bit left in there in the cup. When that didn't work she put it all back in the blender and added ice with no other ingredients blending it more so it ended up more of a liquid drink than a smoothie. After that she proceeded to put it in the same cup, which was dirty and had smoothie all over the side from the initial tantrum she threw, put the lid on it and handed it to me without wiping it off. I grabbed a paper towel and wiped it off then threw it back on the counter; my less than stellar reaction, I was not happy at all at this point. She did not apologize once and proceeded to just be rude. We went to our car and proceeded to leave. I'll say she watched us through the window and her body language didn't tell me a very good story. I get things happen and I'm sure remaking a drink wasn't exactly what she wanted to do. I don't agree with giving a customer a partially empty cup when they ordered and paid for a different size. Business owner to business owner I would be less than happy if this is how someone else was representing my business. I get they're teenage girls but perhaps it's a good teaching moment that when you make a mistake apologizing and fixing it goes pretty far in a customer service situation. I wanted to make you aware of the situation. We've been in there a few times and really like it. We would probably go a lot more often if it was...
Read moreWent in with my mother today. An elderly gentleman with glasses and a hobbled walk came in and asked if there was any food for sale in the store. Burgers and such. He asked about the menu.
"we have a bunch of stuff, no burgers." then the entire staff pretty much giggled and laughed at him. The man left the store without buying anything because he was embarrassed.
He was decently dressed and drove a nice car, clean cut and clear eyed. Just bad eyesight and no experience with chain/franchise specialty food.
Tip for the new generation: there are veterans and farmers who lived their life working or away from mainstream America. They lack certain skills and senses of awareness in the world you grew up in. Please be courteous and respectful to your elders. Because that is not what I saw today.
Suggestions to owner: Staff should have asked "Are you new to this kind of store?" "These are our specials for today." "If you're looking for food, we offer smoothies mixed with fresh fruit and vegetables mainly. Would you like some snacks or a recommendation for another restaurant?"
Smoothie King staff offered NO help to this man and made him uncomfortable to the point he just didn't want to interact with anyone else. I myself have bad eyesight and a limited palette from my time in the military, and I would never want to be criticized, laughed at or ignored for it.
I hope this man found a good...
Read moreI love their smoothies so much I used to come here almost everyday. Now I come here and there due to two people that work there. The two dark people, Indian looking girl with curly hair and a male guy. They are so damn rude, if I wanted to put an add + onto my smoothie or anything onto. Or if Im not ready or if I meant a different smoothie, The girl always rolls her eyes in frustration and announces. I feel so uncomfortable and she throws the straws at you when she’s done completing the order. And the guy doesn’t even acknowledge at you at all either. I used to love coming here but I hate it when they are there. I feel they hate their job so much, why don’t they leave? Everyone beside them are so nice. They need help on their attitude and kindness. I’m hardly someone that makes a review but the girl was...
